19. Missing

Tony's POV

I woke up at midnight to my phone going off, it was McGee calling me. I knew he'd never call this late if it wasn't an emergency, so I immediately answered him, all I could hear was the sound of sirens going off in the background then he began speaking. He told me there was an explosion at the bosses house, the team was there now trying to get them out of the flames

Ziva: Tony what's going on?

"There was an explosion at the bosses house, we don't know if their hurt or not, I just need to go help" I told her and she understood "I'll call you as soon as I can" I said while getting dressed, I gave her a kiss on the lips before heading out. When I arrived on scene the house was completely destroyed. Jen was in the back of an ambulance while the boss was looking around for dani with bishop and McGee

Gibbs: Daniela! Dani!

I helped them search for hours along with a few police officers and police dogs, but there was no sign of dani anywhere

Ellie: gibbs she's not here. Are you sure dani was in the house when this happened?

Jenny: of course we're sure. Where else would our fifteen year old be at midnight? She couldn't sleep, so I went to make her some hot cocoa. She was here and this is her mom's necklace, she'd never take this off

McGee: do you think someone took her? I mean it's the only thing that makes sense

Gibbs: we need to find her. If someone went to all this trouble for dani then that means they want her dead. If we find out why then we'll find dani

We all headed to the navy yard after collecting the boxes that were in what remained of Dani's room. It was everything there was on her mother's case. This kid was looking for something, maybe whatever she found is what made her a target

Jenny: its going to take hours going through these files and she has then in Arabic writing just so we don't find what's she's up to. There's no way we'll find someone to translate in time

"There's always a way. I'll call Ziva, I'm sure she'll be able to understand this" I told them and after making the call Ziva and Tali were in the bullpen within twenty minutes

Ziva: what can I help with?

McGee: Dani's files are in Arabic, we need to know what she may have found that made her a target

Ziva: she's a smart girl, it appears these are witness statements, accident reports and every classified NCIS report on her mother

Gibbs: how would she have access to those. Only Vance would be able to access those

McGee: her mother was one of the best hackers in the country if not the best. Maybe she caught on to some things

Ziva: your looking for Charles Styles, he is who she believed to have murdered her mother. According to these she was in the car with her mother when she died, but was unconscious when they were found. She didn't remember anything from that month before the accident, but her therapy sessions brought back those memories. She remembered her mom swerved to avoid an oncoming car and crashed into a tree, and a man walked up to the car slamming ariella's head into the steering wheel followed by Dani's. He meant to kill them both, but dani survived. He didn't go after her because she lost her memory. It look like after her sessions with grace (her therapist) She remembered every detail of his face luckily for us she drew it

She looked through the box and took out a sketch pad flipping through the pages until she found the picture of our mystery man

Ziva: she found means, motive and opportunity for her moms murder. There's no way she did this kind of research and investigation without help and this man is former MI6, finding him won't be easy

Gibbs: but it will be done, I want everything there is on Charles styles

Ziva: she has a list of names he's been going by

She handed McGee the list and handed abby the sketch pad before picking Tali up into her arms

Jenny: I'm sure vance won't mind you letting her sleep on the couch in his office. It's open

"I'll take her" I told ziva as I took Tali from her arms carrying her up to the directors office. I laid my sleeping daughter on the couch and kissed her cheek before heading back down with the team

Ziva: is she still asleep?

"Yeah she's sleeping. Where did jenny and the boss go?" I asked

Ziva: we found an address on one of Charles styles aliases and they went to check it out. Tony I do not know what I would do of someone took my............our daughter. I do not know how they are so calm

"Their not calm, their trying to be, but their now. They know how much danger Dani's in right now, their worried

Ziva: I just don't understand why someone would hurt a child. She just wanted justice for her mother

"We'll find this guy and hopefully bring dani home safe, everything will be okay Zi" I told her Maybe you should go rest in Vance's office with Tali?" I suggested "your four and a half months pregnant, you must be exhausted" I continued

Ziva: I'm fine, I want to help bring dani home safe

"You have, because of you we have a suspect and we will find him, let us handle if from here. Just get a few hours of sleep

Ziva: okay, I will go and lay with Tali

She headed upstairs as we continued gathering all we could find on Charles styles. Boss and Jen returned around four in the morning with no dani, the warehouse retested to this guy was empty. Its like he's a ghost, this man leaves no trail. I have no clue how dani managed to track him down

Jenny: do you three have any new information on this man?

McGee: we're still working on it

Jenny: work harder, I need to find her before he hurts her. A fifteen year old was able to track this man down, I expect three trained federal agents to be able to do the same

Ellie: we're doing the best that we can. Dani's a brilliant girl, Tue only way to find styles is to think like her. You two know her best, how does she think?

Jenny: she's a teenager hellbent on getting revenge. If I were her I'd start by going through my mom's old files. Ariella didn't trust styles so she must have had a reason. First thing I'd do is find that reason

Ellie: did Ariella have friends in the agency that she did trust? If I were her I'd go to them first

Jenny: her partner before Charles, they were really close. He calls every so often to check in on dani. Jacob Williams

Gibbs: find Jacob, see what info he gave dani and don't stop looking for Charles. McGee I want you to hack into every street camera, the moment his face appears I want to know where

McGee: yes boss, I'm on it. Abby's handle facial recognition. If she shows up anywhere we'll find him

The search was on, it may take time but we will find Charles style and I'd hate to be him when we do
