Tony's POV

It was three in the morning when I got a call from the boss asking me to meet him in the emergency room. Instead of questioning him I just did as he wanted. Being careful not to wake my sleeping wife and daughters who'd made their way in our bed I quickly changed, but my slight movements woke my sleeping ninja anyways

It looked as if she was in pain by the way she woke groaning while curling up into a ball "Ziva what's wrong?" I immediately asked after noticing her discomfort

Ziva: my water broke, and the contractions are coming on strong

"It's okay, our kids have a tendency to come early so I prepared for this" I helped her get changed and packed a bag for each of the girls before taking them down to the car

Tali: daddy I'm tired

"I know pumpkin, but your Ima has to see the doctor" I explained as we arrived at the hospital. After making sure Ziva was checked in I took the girls with me to find the boss who sat in the waiting room with dani "hey boss, is everything okay?" I asked wondering why their here

Dani: we're in a hospital genius, what do you think?

Gibbs: It's not his fault dani, and your mom wants to see you before you leave

Dani: I can't, because if that's her saying goodbye or something I can't hear that. I don't want to hear that dad

Tears filled her eyes as she spoke to her dad, so much that it broke my heart seeing her that way, and had me worried as to what was going on with Jenny

Gibbs: all she's asking for is to see you, I think she deserves that don't you?

She nodded in agreement before walking down the hall stepping into a hospital room which I now presumed was Jenny's "what's going on boss?" I asked

Gibbs: you know Jen had some issues with cancer in the past, but this time doctors found a tumor. They said its the size of a gold ball pressing up against her skull why she's been having such terrible headaches. Their prepping her for surgery and running some tests to see if its cancerous or not. We don't know what will happen, even if its not cancer the surgery has it's risks and Dani's not taking this too well

"Can't blame her, she's probably afraid to loose another mom. Is there anything I can do to help?" I asked

Gibbs: I didn't want you to wake your kids, I just didn't want dani home alone

"Zi's water broke why I woke them, she's just down the hall. I'll call Abby to get them, she won't have to be alone" I assured him

Gibbs: go take care of your wife, I'll make sure the girls get to Abby. Jen would probably like to see them anyways

"You sure boss? You have enough to worry about" I reminded him. It was obvious how stressful this situation is for him and I'd have adding to that

Gibbs: I got it DiNozzo, you go take care of my daughter

I sprinted down the hall into the delivery room with my wife who was in tears. I know every pregnancy is different but this one has her more painful that I'd imagined "It's going to be okay. I'll let them know your ready for that epidural now"

Ziva: their preparing me for an emergency c section, they said the baby's in distress

"Hey, don't cry. I'll be with you every step of the way not matter what. You and our baby will be fine" I assured her

Ziva: I'm scared Tony. I don't want to loose our baby

"Don't think like that, your both going to be fine" I assured her once more. I wasn't about to leave my wife, so I scrubbed up and went along with her into the operating room where she requested to stay awake. Once they were sure her lower body was numb enough doctor Cambridge started the c section "your doing great baby" I kissed her forehead as doctor Cambridge continued with the operation which thankfully waw going smoothly. Within no time the cries of our baby filled the room bringing a smile to my wife's face as the doctor spoke

Dr. Cambridge: congratulations, it's a boy

He handed the baby off to the nurse who made sure his airways were clear before carefully placing him on Ziva's chest

Ziva: he looks just like his abba

"With his mommy's beautiful eyes" I added as I reached over to hold my son who was absolutely perfect "I can already tell your gonna be a mama's boy, but that's okay. I think mommy's gonna like that" I spoke to him as he held onto my finger "You did good sweet cheeks" I told her as the doctor finished off her operation.

Once she and the babies were all cleaned up we were moved into a recovery room where she laid in awe of our newest addition isn't yet named "you seem like you have a lot on your mind" I told her

Ziva: where were you going earlier? When I woke you were on your way out

"Boss called, he wanted me to meet him here to get dani. I didn't want to wake you because I hadn't known what was going on" I explained

Ziva: is she okay?

"It's not her it's Jen and I don't know yet. Doctors found a tumor pressed up against her skull and her surgery isn't for another hour" I informed

Ziva: I hope she's alright. She's become like a mother to me, to all of us and I can't imagine loosing her

"Neither can I, but we don't know how bad this is. She could be fine, so we need to stay positive"

Ziva: how was Gibbs?

"I'm not sure. When he was explaining the situation that was the most I've ever heard him speak, he looks stressed but he's trying to keep a brave face for their daughter. I don't think that kid can handle this"

Ziva: she's stronger than you think.

"sometimes even the strongest of us break, I'm just hoping Jen pulls through this okay." I spoke. We all had so much to think about, life is too short to waste time not living life the way you want to and if tonight didn't prove that I don't know what will. I'm happy to be one of the lucky few. I get to live my life with the love of my life and our three beautiful kids. Some people don't get to have that, so I'll cherish every moment spent with my family
