Ziva's POV

It was four in the morning when I woke to a horrible pain in my lower back. The bedsheets were soaked and when I looked down I saw red. I was bleeding heavily. In a panic I immediately shook Tony awake. I was on the verge of breaking down thinking that something's happened to our little boy and when Tony turned on the light to see what I saw there was fear in his eyes as well. We both know bleeding during pregnancy is never good

Tony: Zi, you have to try and relax. Everything's going to be okay

"You don't know that" I told him as the tears fell down my face. I don't think I could handle loosing another baby, but Tony was right. I needed to stay calm

He helped me out of the bed and into the shower as he made a call to my doctor. He helped me clean myself up and I got changed while we went down the hall into dani and Tali's room. The boss and Jenny went out of town for a fee days, so we'd have to bring the girls along with us

Dani must have given him a hand with Tali who was still fast asleep because we were able to head out in under five minutes. Our baby isn't due for another five weeks and I haven't felt him move since I woke up. I silently prayed to God our son would make it even if I didn't. I love both my kids more than I love myself, and I'd die for them both in a heartbeat

When we arrived at the hospital doctor Matthews stood waiting for us. She immediately had the nurses take me up to labor and delivery as Tony signed me in. He must have called the team at some point, because less that 20 minutes after we arrived I heard Abby's voice. I was trying to focus on anything but my current situation when I felt him move, I felt my baby boy moving. I was so relieved to feel his little feet kicking. Tony and Dr Matthews came in together and she gave me a full check up ultrasound and all

Dr Matthews: Miss David have you been experiencing any signs of labor?

"Yesterday morning I started feeling a few light contractions. I called your office and the nurse said it was probably braxton hicks contractions and to call back if they got worse" I explained

Dr Matthews: your in active labor, which means those light contractions were the real thing. Your 7 centimeters dilated and it looks like the bleeding was cause by your placenta that's very low. Your baby's fine, just a little early

Tony: will hr be alright when he gets here? He's five weeks early

Dr Matthews: we have the NICU on standby in case of complications, but I just delivered a very healthy baby girl who came six weeks ahead of time, I think the baby will be just fine

I was so relieved to hear her say that, her words alone made me relax completely

Tony: was it anything like this with Tali?

"No, it wasn't nearly as scary. She came two weeks after her due date and when it happened I was a little afraid that I wasn't ready, but holding her for the first time just felt right. I wish I'd let you share that moment with me" I told him

Tony: it's okay, I'm here now and we have this moment

He leaned down and placed a kiss on my forehead "did you send the girls with Abby? I asked

Tony: I tried calling her and McGee, but I only got their voice mails and Bishop's still driving back from Idaho, so she won't be here for another two or three hours

"I could have sworn I heard Abby's voice a while ago, I guess it was just my imagination" I told him as I felt another contraction. They are mild and only lasted a few seconds, so they were bearable. Through it all tony stood beside me holding my hand making sure I knew everything would be okay

Dr Matthews: we're almost there, just three more centimeters to go. Have either of you came up with a name for the baby?

Tony: we narrowed it down to five, and she made the final decision mine, but I'll wait until I see our little guy before deciding and that will be soon because apparently he's impatient like his mommy

"I am not impatient" I argued as another contraction shot through my body. This time it came much stronger and lased longer. I squeezed onto Tony's hand uttering a few cures words in Hebrew until it passed. It went on like this for two hours straight. Tears began falling down my face how bad it started to hurt, I just wanted this to be over already

Tony: you can do this. I'm right here with you, so we can do this together. I promise everything will be okay

My contraction were seconds apart, and finally I was dilated a full 10 centimeters, so it came time to push. It took all I had left pushing and pushing, another three hours passed and still no baby. I got frustrated because all I wanted to do was sleep. Its already nine in the morning and we've been at this since four

Dr Matthews: we're almost there. I can see the head, the baby's crowning. Just a few more and your done

"I'm trying" I said with tears freely rolling down my face. I began pushing and pushing until I felt a wave of relief followed by the sound of my baby crying

Dr Matthews: it's a girl

"What?" I questioned wondering how could that be. It's not that I was disappointed, she's just a really big surprise

Tony: she's so beautiful, my perfect little angel

He went and cut her umbilical cord then wrapped her up in a blanket staring down at her before handing her over to me, she was indeed beautiful

Dr Matthews: I don't know how the ultrasound techs mistakes her gender, but wed be happy to reimburse you for any inconveniences caused

"We went with neutral colors so it's okay, and she's a wonderful surprise" I told her as I looked down at my baby girl. This day didn't go as planned, but I'm happy to have another daughter and tony seems to be over the moon
