Tony's POV

After two weeks of non stop searching  we were finally able to catch up with Lucy Ramirez. We caught her about to board a flight out of the country, but she didn't go down without a fight. She ended up shooting McGee in the arm and giving both Bishop and Dr Reid concussions, but JJ a member of the BAU shot her down just as she was about to take a three year old girl hostage

We'd all just got back from the hospital and were now at the boss and jenny's house packing up our case reports and personal belongings

Jenny: Aaron it was a pleasure working alongside you and your team, you all did good today and if you ever require our assistance on a case you know where to find us

Hotchner: same to you director shepard. I just wished we could have stopped her before she shot the senator's daughter. How is she doing now?

Jenny: she spent a week and a half barely responsive in the ICU, but once she regained consciousness a few days ago she's been doing better. She was stable enough to be airlifted to new york a few days ago and I sent agents blye and deeks with her to ensure her safety until our shooter was caught. Senator Beckett wasn't able to stay behind to say this in person, so she asked me to personally thank you all for everything. She has a strong little girl, I think they'll be just fine

"I feel much better knowing Kara's going to be okay. The thought of Kate loosing her only child just for the fact that she decided to help us just didn't seem fair" I stated "The recovery for that girl is going to take time, but she's lucky she has such amazing people in her life who's willing to put in the time and effort" I continued

Dani: I just think being nice is what gets you in situations like this. It's good to help people, but it always turns around to bite you in the ass so why bother?

Jenny: Daniela that's no way to look at that situation. Sometimes bad things happen for good reasons. Every struggle you overcome makes you stronger in the end

Dani: I'm just not as optimistic as you are, there was a time when I believed in things like that but after all the crap i've been through I just don't anymore. Life sucks and people suck, it's as simple as that

Dr. Reid: for a fellow genius as yourself I didn't expect that. You have a nice family, your a bright young lady. What made you give up on people?

Dani: It's complicated and don't try to profile me because i'll only get extremely annoyed, just ask Emily

Emily: I was just trying to figure you out. The only thing your interested in is your laptop. You don't go to school, I don't see you with any friends. I'm just curious as to why your such a loner

Dani: I'm focused on my laptop because MIT is letting me do my classes online and I'll fly out for my exams. I'm not as hard to figure out as you are, but I think I could easily profile you now

Emily: give it your best shot genius

Dani: Alright, your currently working as the chief of the London Interpol office. Your our only assisting the BAU, so your good traveling which means your parents were either military or diplomats. Your the best liar I've ever met so you must have spent a long period working undercover. Your smart so you had an ivy leagued education, but I bet you were rebellious in your teenage years. JJ mentioned that your a mom which in your case means your most definitely married and my guess would be to agent Hotchner why you so willingly fly out every chance you get which is ridiculous. Just move home, your obviously in a constant self battle trying to decided weather or not you want your job back at the FBI which I think you obviously want.

Emily: you read my personnel file which is a classified government document. You know that's illegal don't you

Dani: of course I do, I'm not an idiot and I didn't read your file but by your reaction I was completely accurate wasn't I?

Emily: I wasn't that rebellious as a teen, but I did attend Yale and my mother is a diplomat so your somewhat accurate.

Dani: Somewhat? I completely nailed it

Emily: How did you know that Hotch and I are married, I'm pretty sure nobody else could have guessed that. We don't cross personal and professional lines.

Dani: you didn't, like you guys I studied human behavior and by the way you look at each other your obviously in love. It was just occasional glaces that seemed like nothing to the average person, but i'm not average i'm extraordinary

Hotchner: I like her. If your looking for something to keep you busy I think our unit could use an intern, and that would look great for any future job you might be interested in. Our office is right here in Washington.

Dani: That sounds like fun, make it a paid internship and I will see you at nine am Monday morning

Emily: we'll get along great you and I. See you Monday kid, we start at nine

Dani: Okay, bye

She waved to the agents as they headed out. I was glad this case was finally over, I did not expect it to turn out the way it did, but our killer is dead and I'm pretty sure we can all use a good night's sleep

Ziva: you ready to head home Tony?

"I've been ready. I feel like I haven't slept in forever" I told her as I picked up our infant daughter who smiled up at me "you really are a daddy's girl aren't you Caitlin? I spoke to my daughter who's smile grew wider "you are looking more and more like your mommy everyday, and I love it" I told her

"See you Monday boss" I said as I was headed out with my girls who waved goodbye. All except Caitlin of course who was at the moment lounging off in my arms. Ziva drove and by the time we arrived home both girls were fast asleep in the back seat. After taking the inside and making sure they were tucked in ziva and I headed up to our bedroom

Ziva: the past few weeks have been a little scary for me not knowing if that woman would come after our families or not

"It was scary for me too, but you never have to worry about things like that because I won't let anyone near you or the girls. You'll always be safe and protected with me" I assured her as she laid her head on my chest "I love you sweet cheeks" I said before kissing her forehead

Ziva: I love you too my little furry bear, get some sleep.

She pecked my lips before snuggling up into my embrace, it was the perfect way to fall asleep. I've grown so accustomed to having her near me I don't think i'd be able to sleep without her. Not long after we climbed into out bed we fell asleep together ending the day perfectly though the start was rough
