Tony's POV

It's been three days since the arrival of my baby boy and I couldn't be happier with this little guy. He came earlier than the doctors liked, but thankfully there were no complications. Deciding to be cautious the doctors are keeping both him and his mom in for another few days since her surgery has her weaker than they'd like. She's also been in a tremendous amount of pain which I don't like at all.

I picked up my little guy who laid in on his mother's chest seeing how tired she seemed "Buddy lets let your Ima rest for a while" I cooed while looking down at my only son who she decided l Anthony D. DiNozzo the third which was unexpected but I absolutely love it and I can't get enough of this kid

Ziva: Abby said that Katie keeps crying out for daddy, and you haven't told me how jenny's surgery went

"That's because I didn't want to worry you. Her operation was a few days ago and thankfully the tumor they removed was benign, but she had a bad reaction to the anesthesia and has been out for the past few days. She just woke this morning" I informed her

Ziva: that's good news is it not?

"It's great news, she just has to regain her strength. I think that's the most vulnerable and fragile she's ever been, but she's in good hands with the boss and dani. Boss has always been a man of few words, but with her he's so different. He sits and talks with her all day long, I don't think he's left her side once since she got here."

Ziva: I want to see her

"When your feeling better, Zi you've been in pain all day long." I reminded her

Ziva: I've been lying here for three days now. Walking down the hall to visit Jenny won't do me any harm

She didn't give me a chance to argue, she hopped out of bed with a painful groan as she stood up "Your in pain, you need to rest like the doctor said." I spoke harsher than planned "I'm only looking out for you zi, I don't want you ending up hurting yourself"

Ziva: I know your worried about me but I don't need a babysitter. I'm gonna be in pain for a while, but I know my limits. If you have me in bed for the next six or eight weeks like the doctor said you'll be dealing with a newborn and our two girls on your own. You know how much I hate feeling helpless

"I guess we could go see Jen for a little while, but no walking. I'll have the nurse bring in a wheel chair for you." I told her and she agreed. Once nurse Liza brought in the wheel chair and helped Ziva in I handed her the baby and began pushing her into the direction of jenny's room where we met. Dani and Roman seated together on the couch holding hands. I don't know if I'll ever be okay with my girls dating, but she seemed really happy

Dani: I was just coming to see that baby.

"Your in luck because this little guy is wide awake" I told her

Dani: he's so cute, which is weird because he looks  like you

Her comment made both Jenny and Ziva laugh "since when do you tell funny jokes?" I asked

Dani: I've been working on that one, and he really does look like you. I see why Ziva decided to give him your name, but obviously he's the cute one

"I'm more along the lines of ruggedly handsome, so agreed. When exactly did this happen?" I asked referring to her and Roman who's hands were still locked together

Dani: how did I not see that question coming? Its just been a little while. Seven months ago

"Seven months isn't a little while. That's a long time and I thought he wasn't your type" I reminded her

Dani: he wasn't, but I decided to give something new a try and its working out great. He still annoys me but I like him and I don't need you going bog brother asking fifty questions. I had an awkward enough talk with dad. Two actually

"Yeah, but as your big brother it wouldn't seem right if I not ask fifty questions, but we're here to see your mom so later. Maybe in the interrogation room" I suggested only to be glared at "I was kidding, he's a good enough kid and if the boss is okay then we're good. I'd still shoot him if he hurts you though" I added

Dani: that's sweet, but we're good. Now can I hold this baby or what?

"Of course you can" I said before handing over the newest addition to her while Ziva sat talking with Jenny. We had a rough couple of days, but I'm glad we all made it because my family is my life, each and every one of them are deeply loved and I can't imagine having to loose anyone of our insane bunch

Dani: Usually today is one of the two hardest days in the year for me. It's my mamma's birthday, and after visiting her grave this morning I didn't feel the way I used to. I never wanted to let go of her and I won't ever forget her, but because of you guys I have so much more people to love. Especially you mom. Biology did matter to me some time ago, but it doesn't anymore because you didn't have to move me you chose to love me, you all did and I love you all too

Jenny: that was very sweet and I'm sure wherever Ariella is right now she'll always be looking over you. That woman loved you with everything she had

Dani: I know, and love her just the same. I didn't think I'd ever love anyone that way again, but you changed things and I must have been horrible to live with in the beginning, but you kept me anyways

Jenny: we all know exactly what you we're going through. My dad and I were inseparable when he died and I felt so lost. Tony and Ziva both lost their mom's at an early age and so did your dad. We. Knew how you felt, and giving up on someone isn't what we do in this family. Adding one more stubborn person didn't change things much. No matter what we'll always love you baby girl. Now hand over this baby

She went and laid junior in her mom's arms and I swear I saw him smile at her. If you'd ask me I think as crazy as things has been for us this was a perfect way to end the day

The end.

Thank you all for reading and voting. I had a lot of fun writing this one although there were some major writer's block why I decided to end this so soon. Anyways thanks again for reading
