**I hope you guys like it so far! When you get an idea in your head it's harder to put it in words like this but I think I've done a pretty good job so far but I'd love to hear what everyone else thinks.

The summer was better than my last. Mostly because my father believes I'm all for his and that noseless idiot's cause. In truth, I'm against them more than ever now. I found out something about myself that made me happy yet extremely pissed off. Let's go back to that.

I was in my room when I got hungry and decided to make my way downstairs to get a snack. I heard voices in my farther's office. For some reason I got curious. I went to the corner and stood quietly where I could hear them. Luckily they left the door cracked. "After all these years she is finally becoming a Dright." My father said sounding more proud than I had ever heard him. "I was beginning to think it would never happen considering who she really is." The was Lucious. I leaned closer. Who I really am? What does that mean. "Will you ever tell her Kint?" My mother's soft voice sounded. "No, she doesn't need to know. She was nothing more than a mistake to that woman." I put my hand over my mouth to stop me from making any sounds. "My love, she is a black by blood. I have a bad feeling that if she finds out something awful will come of us." My mother sounded worried. "She will never find out. Sirius is dead and her mother ran away to hide right after she was born." My father's voice was stern towards my mother. My head was spinning and I had lost my appetite. I quietly ran for my room and once again stayed there for most of the break.

Now, I'm back at Hogwarts for my 6th year. I knew one thing and that was that I am not a Dright. No wonder I am so different from them. I couldn't help but think of my real father's name. Sirius Black, who was he and why did he give me away? Did he even know about me? I had all these questions now and no way to find the answer. Did I look like him? I thought about it as I twirled a piece of my raven colored hair around my finger. Abigail Black, I actually like the sound of that.

This year Snape actually got the spot of Defense Against the Dark Arts professor. We had a new potions professor named Slughorn. I was in his class along with Neville, Hermione, Ron, and Harry. Draco had left me alone about Neville because he thought I was only being close to him to watch Harry. Which was not true but I'd take it gladly. I was standing next to Neville as Slughorn talked about some potions in front of us. Hermione spoke up talking about how that potion would make you smell whatever attracted you most. I didn't need a potion because I was standing next to what attracted me most. He smelled of fresh soil and flowers. Which isn't a smell you normally get from a guy but since Neville was so into Herbology he always smelled like that.

I was trying my hardest to make this stupid potion but the beatle wasn't working with me. "This is rubbish!" I whisper/yelled in frustration. I slammed my knife down and accidentally crushed the bug. I looked at it for a second then picked it up and squeezed the juice into my pot. Neville laughed making me look over at him. "What?" I asked raising a brow. "Nothing" he shook his head while smiling. I continued through the instructions until it was the end of class. "Good, but not good enough." Slughorn said after he dropped a feather in my cauldron. He made his way around the class examining each one. When he got to Harry he dropped the feather in just like he did for everyone else. "Perfect! I'd say one drop would kill us all." He exclaimed like an excited child. I watched as he handed the prize to Harry.

"Neville" I yelled as I gathered my books and bag. He came to my side immediately and I couldn't help but smile. "Walk with me" I requested as I threw my bag over my shoulder. He nodded with a smile. We walked out of the class and down the corridor to my next class. "There's something I want to tell you but I can't have anyone else hearing it." I spoke softly as we walked. "What's that?" He asked curiously. "Meet me at the tower after dinner and I'll tell you." I smiled at him then hugged him tightly to me. With that I took a turn down the next corridor and disappeared into my classroom.

During dinner Draco kept asking me about Harry and what he was up to. I told him I haven't seen or heard anything unusual. It's all been about classes and quidditch. He finally shut up long enough for me to enjoy my food. I savored every bit of it. These feasts never disappointed. After I finished my meal I told Draco I'd be back in the common room later in the evening. Luckily he asked no questions. I made my way out of the great hall and up to the tower. When I entered Neville was already sitting there waiting for me. "What did you-" I cut him off by kissing him. I've been wanting to do that since the end of last year.

I grabbed his hand and pulled him to a seat next to me. "I'm not a Dright." I said getting straight to the point. "What?" He raised a brow at me. "I'm adopted. I over heard my parents and Lucius Malfoy talking over break. I'm not a Dright because I was adopted." I explained roughly trying not to sound too happy. Neville smiled at me and I lost control. I squealed and hugged him. "Wait, then who is your birth parents?" He asked pulling out of the hug. "They didn't mention my mother's name but they said my father's name was Black, Sirius Black." I watched as Neville's face went from concentration, to confusion, then to realization. "Sirius Black?" He questioned. I nodded.

"Bloody hell" he whispered and ran his hand through his hair. "What? Did you know him?" I asked hoping to get some answers. "I didn't know him well but I met him last year. He was a member of the order and-" he paused and stared at me. "And what?" I questioned needing to know more. "He was Harry's godfather." I sat there bumfuzzled. How did he become Harry's godfather? "I don't think he knew about you." Neville said making me snap out of my thoughts. "Why do you say that?" I scooted closer to him. "I heard him tell Harry once that he always wanted a child but he figured it was too late for that now." I took that in and the tears started to fall. Neville wrapped his arms around me and I buried my face in his chest. "We should tell Harry. He could tell you a lot more about him then I can. Remus too." I let go of him and met his eyes. I sniffled a bit before I spoke. "Remus Lupin?" I asked remembering our Dark Arts professor from 3rd year. He just nodded.
