Chapter One: Studio Meet Up

TONI
"Alright T, come on out we can take a break for right now. I'm about to step out for a minute" Kenny said and walked out the studio on the phone

"Okay" I responded taking off my headphones

"Tone, Keri called he said he can't make it tonight." Tamar said sitting on the couch

"Did he even say why Tayme?" I asked slightly annoyed

"Nope." Tamar said

I let out a frustrated sigh as I roll my eyes and my phone began to ring. "Hello? Yes? What?! Ughhh okay I understand." I say and hang up the phone

"Girl you okay what happen?" Tamar asks

"Yea I'm fine that was just my manager. He said Will Smith and Martin Lawrence can't be in the video anymore." I sigh

"Why come?" Tamar ask confused

"Apparently they're making a Bad Boys 2 and they won't be able to get to the shoot in time."

"Damn sis, we can find you some other leading men it'll all work out." Tamar says reassuringly

"I'm okay. I'm not mad, I'm just really mad at Keri this is his third time cancelling plans on me since we got back to LA." I explain

"Toni y'all just flew back this week it's only Thursday." She pointed out

"Exactly Tamar!"

"You think he?"

"Honestly I don't even wanna think about that right now. But I got a feeling and it's not a good one." Quickly changing the subject I walked back over to the sound board. "Come on Tay and do these backing vocals real quick so I can send them off to mix tonight."

"I pray to God he's not out here cheating on me." I thought to myself

"Okay boo" Tamar hops in the booth

As soon as I'm about to hit the record button I hear all this loud noise coming from the room next door. People yelling, laughing, talking and extra loud music all coming from whoever is in the studio next door. It's so distracting.

"Ooooh girl it sound like they having a party next door why wasn't I invited?" Tamar asked taking off her headphones

Letting out a small laugh "would you focus crazy" I tell her

"Foods here!" We hear someone yell through the wall and they start getting louder

"They can't possibly be doing anything productive like this." I say as I roll my eyes and walk out our room heading next door

"Wait Toni I wanna come too!" Tamar says catching up behind me

I knock on the door and no one answers me I assume they can't hear me over this loud ass music they playing. So I knock again but instead of knocking I literally just banged on the door until this random girl opened the door.

She looked high "Oh my god I'm a such a huge fan of yours!" The girl shouted in my face which annoyed me

"Thanks. Who's running this session?" I asked trying to stay calm

"Me." Someone from the other side of the room said me but I honestly couldn't see who said what do to all the people that were standing infront of me blocking my view.

"Who's me?" I asked with an attitude

The group of people stepped back revealing Dr. Dre and Ice Cube sitting in the two studio chairs infront of the sound board.
