(A/N: This will probably be a short chapter guys, besides, we can't leave out the funeral. If we did, then that'd be like leaving the sugar out of cotton candy, like come on! )
You stand there trying to keep a stoic face. You kneel down to the crying Konohamaru and hug him. Everyone pays their respects and leaves. You and Naruto were the last two there.
"(y/n), why are you wearing white instead of black?" Asks Naruto.
"Because this is the white Kimono that he had given me, besides, sad times deserve happier endings." You say.
"Hmm, I'll never understand you, y'know." Chuckles Naruto as he runs to his team, leaving you behind. You kneel down to the Hokage's grave.
"Lord Hokage, I thank you for letting me live in the village, giving me a shoulder to cry on, and being the grandfather I never could meet." You say chuckling at the last part. Then you lay your flower on his grave. Before you could stand up, a tear escaped your eye and made it's way on your flower. You smile. "Thank you."
