                 〰 Mal's POV

Weeks has passed and there was no bad things or harm that happened, of course it was good news for me and Ben. No signs of Harold and no signs of Jaxon.

I was really sorry for Jaxon that he saw me with Ben again and we were supposed to hang out that time and I cancelled it off.

My mother have been hiding something from me and It was bothering her. She looks scared when I leave her alone at her room, she was even scared of late time meals.

Just liked it bothered my mother, It bothered me too. I'm worried right now. I should ask her why.

I stood up from the chair and jogged down to her room, saying good morning to every person I pass. If you're wondering.. We're in Ben's castle and It's a good news that his perents is gone for a moment.

I opened the door finding my mother sitting in a chair at the balcony, taking a glimpse of the beautiful view of Auradon.

"Good morning, Mother." I started. "Isn't it beautiful?" I continued taking a step each second and stoping at the door frame of the balcony. "Just beautiful as you are, darling." She complimented with a smile, standing up from her chair.

She welcomed me with a hug, while I hug her back, I accompanied her inside. We both sat on the couch with formality. "Do you need something, dear?" She politely asked.

"Yes I do actually." I nodded. "You seemed bothered at something and of course it's bothering me too. Is there something wrong or you're just hiding someone from us." I explained as she tried to understand every word.

She was tensed, she was sweating. "N-no! I'm not hiding a think from you.." She spoke happily at first but her voice become silent, to silent, to silent.

"Mom, there is a problem and I know it. Please don't lie to me." I plead. "Harold was the one that threatened me that he would kill me." She mumbled that made my jaw drop.

A sudden emotion came up to me and as well as my mind and soul felt the emotion, anger, hate, and disgust. "He is such a bitch!" I stood up furious, having a swift effect in my pace. "Mal. Come down my dear. I'm don't even have any wounds and pain. You shall not be worried." Mother protested.

I flickered my head, facing my mother. "You don't understand the situation, mom." I spat. "He, almost killed me. He, hurted me. He, wants to see me dead for God's sake!" I screeched. She stood up from her chair and captured my wrists. The grip was so tight I can't even feel my hands.

"We will be safe. You have no rights to shout at your mother like your mother doesn't care at all!" She shouted in front of my face.

"Don't you dare tell me we will be safe! If we would be safe then why was I abused in the first place? Why did I feel unsafe in the first place? Why would I feel safe if you weren't there to feel my own pain. You don't know how it feels to be alone in such a world like this. In the matter-of-fact you don't look you care at all. You didn't even have concern to tell your own daughter your own problem! Now you tell me, we will be safe, and you actually, actually "care" for me!" I yelled. Helding back my wrists.

Her face was red and surprised for the words that I have spoken. "I wish you weren't my mother." I told her not even caring and thinking of what I said, leaving the room, with a heads up.

After leaving, I could hear sobs and sniffles coming from the room. Keeping my head down, I bumped into somebody. I managed to keep my blance and stood up.

"Watch yourself!" He apparently shouted. I looked up. There he is. "So, now you're just gonna look to me like that?" He said annoyed. "Sorry, kid. Who are you anyways?" I rolled my eyes.

"How dare you talk to me like that? I'm a prince." He smirked. "You? A prince? You're a kid." I giggled, he crossed his arm.  He fixes his suit. "I am not a kid. I'm a teenager. In fact, I may be a teenager but I am a prince. Having the king as my father, I should recieve respect and glory." He reasoned.

I was very confused so I asked, "The king?" I cocked an eyebrow. "Yes. That is correct. King Benjamin is my father. The king of Auradon." He grinned proudly, fixing his crown.

Ben? How come Benjamin became a father? Did he have a wife back then? He is to young to have kid. I can't complain, the kid is very intelligent and high on himself.

But this is very unfortunate, Ben didn't told me anything about this situation. Maybe he was hiding it from me. Or maybe he thought I would be very disappointed to hear this. And the fact that I truly am, disappointed by his attitude in not telling me important things.

"Marco! There you are." Ben came out of nowhere. Marco quickly fixes his bow. "Father." He said gaving his 'father' a brotherly hug.

"Mal, this is Marco my adopted son from my cousin. Uh.. His parents apparently.. died. I promised Luther I would take care of Marco." Benjamin explained patting Marco in the back.

Ben shifted to Marco. "So, this is Mal. I think you both already know each other. I would like you to know that you've already met your mother." Ben stated. "You must be mistaken, father. I haven't met her yet. I was looking for her just lately but I bumped into her." Marco pointed at me.

Benjamin chuckled and said, "Well you see my son, she is your mother."

"What?!" I asked surpised. "I'm his mother?!"
