Percy Jackson and The Avengers

The Second Meeting

Percy POV

After the incident in the graveyard I walk back to my small apartment to find it completely destroyed. The whole place has been ransacked and things are lying all over the floor.

My first thought was 'mom', was she here? Was she okay? Did they take her?

I run through out the apartment trying to find her, when I get to her and Paul's room I find blood on the walls and a note.

"Dear Perseus,

We have taken your mother and step-father. In exchange for their lives we want you. Come and get them."

I break down and cry. Yes the great 'hero of Olympus' who 'isn't afraid of anything' is breaking down and crying.

I cry for everything that had happened in the last week. I cry for being in Tartarus, I cry for my friend's deaths, I cry for Annabeth and I cry for my parents being kidnapped.

After I have finally finished letting my emotions run free I leave my apartment and head to the beach. The beach is always where I can think clearly.

After sitting there for about two days just staring out into the ocean I sense five presences behind me. Hate and anger are rolling off of them as they look at me. I instantly know that these are the guys that I beat the fudge out of the other day.

I am just about to turn around and make some witty remark when I sense another, much more powerful and larger, presence coming from the water. I have a gut feeling that I am about to have a huge fight with a monster.

I turn around and look at the people behind me about ten feet away. "Run" I state simply, then I stand up.

Just as they are about to walk closer to me a huge monster springs out of the water and lunges for me, I dive out of the way and into the sea where I will have an advantage.

I take a good look at the monster and realize it is the kraken. Oh styx. Ad far as I can remember nobody has ever defeated the kraken before. This monster is supposed to be locked away in the deepest parts of Tartarus. What was it doing out here roaming free?

I can't think about that right now I have to concentrate on how to defeat it. It's eight tentacles are all trying the attack me from different sides. I grab Riptide and chop off four of its tentacles it roars in pain and lunges at me again. I use my 'weird fishy powers' and create a huge wave that knocks him back. I hold him there as I take riptide and plunge it into the beast's chest and watch as it's essence is taken back to Tartarus.

Even though I have faced worse monsters that fight and my emotional stress at the moment push me over the edge and I pass out into the sea.

Tony POV

We are casually walking up to the kid, the plan is to talk to him first and then have three of us jump him while he is focused on the two people talking to him. Therefore we have he element of surprise and we can take him down that way.

Suddenly the kid turns around and says "Run"

We, being the curious people we are, walk towards him slowly then this huge thing pops up out of the water and the kid charges at him.

The avengers race backwards trying to get out of the way of the huge fight.

We watch as the kid takes out a sword (when did he get that?) and defeats the monster. I can't really see what's going on because he is just too fast for normal eyes.

Suddenly the monster pops into a stream of golden powder and the kid collapses into the water.

Natasha is the first to act so she jumps into the water to stop the kid from drowning.

Once they pop out of the water and she drags him onto the sand I realize he is unconscious. Perfect.

I pick him up and carry him princess style back to the hellicarrier.

Let the interrogations begin! Well... after the kid wakes up...
