Thor POV

After watching Percy's entire life the whole team feel a lot of sympathy towards him. He has had a very hard life. We all share a look before coming to a silent agreement.

We will make the rest of this kid's life enjoyable.

We are all sitting at the table silently. Half of us thinking about Percy's life, the other half thinking about the new threat.

Tartarus doesn't want the world. Doesn't want to kill a bunch of people. He only wants to kill the gods and Percy. The simplest solution; give him the gods and Percy.

But we can't do that. We refuse to give Tartarus Percy because he deserves some happiness in his life. And we can't give away the gods because that will upset the balance in the world.

Suddenly Percy breaks the silence.

"I don't want your pity.." He begins. "I don't want you to change how you act around me. We are still friends, and I want our relationship to be the same as it was before, okay?"

We all stare at him.

"We can do that," Natasha grins. That sentence makes everybody else break out into grins.

Percy visibly relaxes and hesitantly smiles back at us.

We all finish our breakfast before deciding to hang out in the living room, watching movies and playing games. Trying to forget the stress of a 'new threat' and war and stuff...

We are on our second movie when suddenly Tony stands up.

"Hey guys," We all look at him to continue, "Why are we still on the hellicarrier? I mean.. We aren't here for a mission. I say we go back to New York and chill at Stark Towers. Who's with me!?"

He gives us the brightest smile I've seen in a long time.

"Oh please, you just want to visit your girlfriend, Pepper Potts," Steve smirks.

"Why yes, yes I do."

I smile to myself before adding to the conversation. "Yeah, I would like to visit the place of our last battle. Make sure that it is doing well, that it hasn't suffered from the damage too much."

"I would like to go back to my mum's apartment to get some of my stuff..." Percy adds on.

"So it's decided we'll take the spare jet and fly into New York," Natasha concludes.

"Wait.. You can't just fly a jet into the middle of New York!" Percy complains.

All of us simultaneously look at him and smirk.

"You'll see..." Tony answers suspiciously.

We all file out to the deck of the hellicarrier and slide into the first jet that we see.

I glance over at Percy to see his face as white as a sheet and is breathing heavily.

I stare at him for a few seconds before it clicks. Son of Poseidon. What had we seen in Percy's memories? Or right, he's not supposed to fly! Poor guy, must be hyperventilating just at the thought of flying.

I lean over and rest a hand on his shoulder.

"Don't worry. I am the asgardian god of thunder. Meaning I have some control over wind. If your 'big bad' uncle Zeus tries to crash the jet I will save you. I'm not letting you die, okay?"

He looks at me and smiles before snuggling into the side of my body. I know what I have to do. I have to give him something to hold on to. I am Percy's anchor.

I look down at him slightly shivering into my side as he holds onto me for support and I make a silent vow to always be there for him when he needs me. I mean... He's just a kid.

The jet takes off and makes a nose dive towards the water, I see Percy look at the jet in awe as it slowly starts to transform into a boat.

After several seconds the newly turned boat hits the water and we're now sitting on a large jet ski boat gliding through the water.

Percy smiles as he is finally back in the comfort of his own domain. He closes his eyes and breathes deeply.

Suddenly the boat speeds up and we start racing towards the edge of New York City.

Steve gives a low whistle, "Man. I love your powers Perce!"

"Agreed." Tony whispers.

Suddenly the boat stops moving. We all look at Percy in confusion whose eyes snap open and body language tenses.

"Dad?" Percy whispers confused.

I freeze slightly. I know that the greek gods are good and all that, they won't hurt us because Percy is here.. But I can't help but worry. Greek and Asgardian gods don't really .. get along.

The history between Greek, Roman and Asgardian gods has been bloody and bad. The most memorable being the huge war that took place about 2 000 years ago. To mortals 2 000 years is a huge amount but to gods... 2 000 years is like a second.

Furthermore Romans and Greeks... Well, they know how to hold a grudge.

Poseidon emerges from the water in all of his glory, he wears a traditional greek toga with his magnificent trident in his right hand.

"Hello Percy, Percy's friends..."

He looks at us expectantly. Tony takes initiative.

"Greetings Lord Poseidon, my name is Tony Stark. This is Dr Bruce Banner, Steve Rogers, Clint Barton, Natasha Romanoff and Thor Asgardian god of thunder."

He looks at us all in turn before finally landing on me. Even though our domains should make us complete enemies he was always the kindest to me. He smiles slightly before turning his attention back to his son.

"You have all been summoned on Olympus."

Percy gazes at his father before looking down. His face turns as hard as stone, instantly the fun movie-loving teenager is replaced with a hard battle-hardened soldier waiting for his next order to kill.

"When?" He questions as he raises his head to look his father in the eye with a cool stare.

"Now." Poseidon answers before he flashes us all out and into the throne room of Olympus.

Percy POV

We are flashed to Olympus and I can see the Avengers, minus Thor, gawking at the throne room and how 'amazing' it is.

Of course it's amazing. It was designed by my wise girl.

The Avengers slowly turn their gazes back on to me to take charge of the situation. I inwardly sigh and step up to the gods.

"You summoned us... I assume you want to go over a battle strategy that will work with our new allies as well." I state calmly.

Zeus nods solemnly.

"Does everybody understand the situation?"

We all nod sadly. I look around the room to see all of the gods looking like true war veterans that don't want to be caught up in another fight. Well, except for Ares who always wants a war.

My gaze then turns to the Avengers, they look like they don't want a war but they don't have that look about them that says 'I have been fighting to survive since I was ten' that most demigods have.

I can hardly keep up with the conversation as battle strategies come flying around the room from all different people. Mainly between Athena (goddess of battle strategy) and Ares (god of war).

I watch the arguments like a tennis match.

"We should do this"... "We should do that"...

Honestly.. It's tiring to be a part of this.

After three agonizingly LONG hours we finally come up with a plan of action.

"Everybody understands?" Zeus questions. We nod with grim but determined looks on our faces. "Alright, council dismissed!"

During our walk back to Stark Towers the only thought going through my head is:

Tartarus is going down.
