I'm sorry if the fight scenes suck ...

----------------------------------------------

Steve POV

We all start screaming as the whip connects with Percy's body. He instantly falls unconscious as the rest of us watch in horror.

The monsters turn towards us with sadistic grins on their faces as they start to beat us up.

Us Avengers only get a bad beating and a few cuts. The gods, on the other hand, get whipped and ... I'm sorry, I just.. I can't even think about what happened to them. Let's just say unthinkable things were repeatedly done to them for ten minutes.

Anyway more monsters come in and torture the gods for a few minutes. After about ten minutes they start untying us, moving us outside (still with the metal that sucks our powers on) and re-tying us up outside.

I look around at the hundreds of monsters gathered around us in the underworld, wondering how we are going to get out of this situation.

I look back at who to ask only to find half of our troops are unconscious and/or bleeding heavily.

If this were a normal situation at this point I would be praying to god but ... all of the gods are already lined up beside me bleeding. And... Is that gold blood? What...?

It's then that I realized that the gods can't help us in this situation. This metal weakens GODS powers. They have no power as long as the chains are still on them. On the other hand us mortals aren't weakened by this at all. If only I could break my chain and then break everyone else's chains as well, mainly the gods's chains. So that the gods can actually do something.

Right I have a plan. Now to put it into action.. That is much easier said than done. I groan inwardly trying to think of how to break these chains. I'm not that strong, right?

My thoughts are broken off by Tartarus's booming voice; "Monsters! Titans! Giants! We are gathered here today to witness the down fall of arguably the most powerful beings on Earth. Second only to the primodorals, myself included. Today we will watch them suffer!!"

I do not like the sound of that.

All of the monsters clap and cheer and make awful noises in agreement. Man, I am so glad that our torturing gets to be entertainment (note the sarcasm).

Tartarus continues on with his speech but I'm not paying attention anymore, instead I try to get a good grip on my chains and break them.

I can feel someone watching me and I look up to see Tony. He nods in understanding before beginning to make work of his own chains. Soon Clint and Natasha start with theirs as well.

Let's do this, for Percy.

Percy POV

I slowly start to come back into consciousness only to see a change in scenery from where I was knocked out. How nice. Not.

I glance to my left only to see half the gods passed out and the other half looking like standing up is taking away too much of their energy. I looks to my right to see all of the avengers trying to break their chains. Good.

They must have realized that the gods (myself included) are immobile with these chains on us. If they can break out of their chains they can then break ours for us.

Unfortunately the chains aren't breaking easily.

Suddenly I hear a war cry, followed by a big chunk of monsters at the back falling down, dead. I try to get a better look at who is attacking the monsters only to see a sort of fog thing...
