Percy POV

I sit there and stare at my room and think about what Annabeth had told me. She said that if I met someone else I should 'not completely push them away'. That she was happy to 'share me'. I can't believe it, Annabeth is my other half. My soul mate. We literally went through hell together, and she thinks that I would ditch her for another girl!

I mentally screamed in frustration. Without thinking I stood up from the bed and punched the wall so hard that the wall crumbled slightly making it so that I could see the room next door.

In the room next door was a metal table in the centre, with cabinets lining the walls. Each cabinet was full of scientist equipment; needles, containers, doctor stuff etc.

I cautiously stepped inside and started toward a cabinet with the intent of looking at the equipment in more detail. Although I was stopped when a somebody cleared their throat.

My head snapped to the man sitting in the corner. My first thought was 'Why couldn't I sense him?'. Taking a better look at him I realized that it was the Titan Prometheus.

He grinned at me wickedly like he knew something I didn't. He chuckled evilly then said something that brought a shiver down my spine.

"I can't wait to have fun with you after Tartarus captures you.." Then he flashed out. I gulped.

Before I could think on it anymore the door swung open and a guy walked. I think his name was Dr Bruce Banner...

He didn't notice me at first and he simply walked in, put on his lab coat and sat down starting his paperwork. He glanced around the room when finally he saw me and the huge hole in the wall that I had made.

Pure shock and terror masked his face as he took in the scene before him. Finally he spoke:

"So you decided to break the wall?"

I chuckled to myself, of course that's what he picks up on.

"Could I talk to that director person, I have something important to tell him," Is my response, I try to ignore the question as much as possible.

He looks surprised before nodding hurriedly and racing out of the room. I follow close on his heels.

After many twists and turns we reach a heavily bolted door, Bruce shuffled through his briefcase until he finds a security pass. He swipes it in the door and twists the handle.

Inside the room there is a huge black metal table in the middle of the room on a slight platform. After that there are a few steps before it leads to a floor littered with computers and spy equipment. 'So this is where they have their meetings and research people, huh.' I think to myself.

"Take a seat, he will be here shortly." Bruce interrupts my thoughts.

I pull out a chair and sit down, wincing slightly as the back of the chair clashes with one of my un-healed scars from Tartarus. I don't show it, but the cold metal on my back is creating an interesting burning feeling.

After a few minutes the 'team' dribble in, most of them are giving me looks that say 'How could you refuse our generous offer of being on this team'. Others look at me like 'How are you even sitting at our table, we are stronger than you, you should be on your knees, bowing'.

I try not to glare back, settling for an unreadable expression instead.

Suddenly there is a bright flash and I immediately recognize it as a god flashing in. I tense up and shove my hand in my pocket, gripping Riptide tightly.

When the light clears I see a big bulky blonde guy with ancient armor on and a huge hammer in his right hand.

"Took you long enough to show up. Where were you when we were on the important mission to capture the kid." The guy, Tony, inquires.

Thor glares slightly before getting a questioning look on his face. He then turns to me as if only just realizing that I am here.

A look of recognition crosses his features as he gets on one knee and bows.

I force myself not to show any surprise, I keep my face a mask of no emotion.

"Perseus," He greets formally, head still bowed. "I am Thor, Asgardian god of Thunder."

"Please call me Percy, and please don't bow or anything." I respond. Then I realize what he said 'God of Thunder huh? Agardian huh? Can't the gods just leave me alone?

I glance around at the room and take in everyone's shocked faces. Well who wouldn't be shocked, a god just bowed to someone. That doesn't just happen on a regular occasion...

Thor is still kneeling infront of me for some unknown reason as the door opens and Director Fury walks through. He takes one look at the scene and raises an eyebrow.

"Why is Thor, an all powerful god, bowing to a mortal?" He questions, I scoff ... Mortals, so ignorant.

I smile at him, a smile that clearly shows 'It's cute that you think that, obviously I know a lot more than you..'

"I have spoken to .. some people. I have decided that I will join your team of superheroes." I tell him straight out. I can sense Clint, Bruce and Tony's jaws drop. While Natasha smirks as if she is the one that controls everything. Steve merely nods as if saying 'I knew it all along'. Thor on the other hand looks so excited from his position on the floor.

Before I can stop myself I haul him to his feet and shove him into a chair silently telling him to 'stop f***ing bowing to me, I don't like the attention.' He just nods knowingly as if he knows everything about me.

"Firstly, I need to tell you who I am. What I have done in my life." I continue. So I tell them everything from when I was 12. I tell the Titan war in detail, skip over most of Tartarus and explain that my friends died and how they died during the Giant war.

They were really good listeners, they would sit quietly. Laugh at the right moments. Look sad at the right moments. The only one that say there emotionless was Director Fury.

At some points they would turn to Thor and say things like "no way", "that couldn't happen". Also for some freaky reason Thor knew everything about me.

When I voiced my thoughts on this his reply was:

"Oh on Asgard we use your battles as legends, we tell them to the children to teach life lessons. I just can't believe that it's all true and that you're only 18!!"

"Why would you swap my life stories as life lessons? The only lesson I can teach is 'how to be as thick and obtuse as possible'.." I mutter to myself, luckily nobody heard me.

"So.. your a demigod ... the GREATEST demigod that ever lived ... " Steve confirms. I nod. His mouth drops open slightly before quickly closing it and looking away, deep in thought.

"I still don't believe you. I mean, two wars? Come on, no way. Furthermore you're only 18! There is no way that you are that strong. I reckon I could beat you." Tony states challengingly. I look at the other's faces, everyone believe me expect for Tony and Clint. Although I can tell that he would never admit that out loud.

"Fine.. You, Me, training room in 5?" I challenge back. Honestly I could beat him with my eyes closed and both my hands tied behind my back.

"Deal, prepare to go down pretty boy." He sneers and stomps off, probably to go and put on as much armor as possible.

I sigh inwardly, some idiots have the hugest ego and think just because I'm a kid I can't do anything. I don't care if people don't think I'm tough or strong or whatever but if we are going to work as a team he needs to understand that I can beat him to a pulp without breaking a sweat.

Slowly everyone gets up to show me to the training room, where I am about to smash a mortal at his own game...
