Forbidden Love

Chapter Ten: I'm sorry

I stopped as I reached the park out of breath. I looked around wondering if Paul and Crystal were still here. I saw no sign of them. I ran forward into the park looking in every direction for any sign of, Crystal. Any sign of the person I think I love.

I ignored the tears arising in my eyes and I kept looking. I hadn’t been gone that long, where are they? As I was about to give up I spotted a flash out the corner of my eye.

As I rushed towards it I heard, Crystal’s voice. “Why is it not working?”

“They said a mistake happened but this time it will work,” I heard Paul say.

I headed around the trees and found Crystal and Paul standing there and Paul had something in his hand. I had never seen anything like it before. What are they doing behind these trees anyway?

“Crystal,” I called to her.

Paul and Crystal looked up and stared at me. I couldn’t be sure how long they just looked at me before I walked towards them. “Stay back!” Paul shouted at me.

“No, I am not scared of you, Paul. My love for, Crystal is too big for you to stand in the way any longer. I don’t care what you think or anyone else does. I’m not going to allow you to take, Crystal away from me,” I told him firmly.

“You are in way over your head here and if you have a brain you will leave right now,” Paul said harshly.

“I’m not listening to you anymore,” I said as I ignored him completely and approached, Crystal.

“James please, you’re making this worse,” she pleaded with me.

“Why can’t you be with me? What makes him or anyone else to be able to tell us what we can do? I can’t accept that I can’t be with you. I didn’t believe in love but that’s changed now and I don’t want my heart broken. Prove to me that love doesn’t always break people’s hearts. Crystal if you love me, you will kiss me right now,” I said to her.

“James, it’s more complicated then you can ever imagine,” said Crystal sadly.

“Kiss me and let’s uncomplicated it, together,” I said softly.

Crystal looked over at Paul. “I’m sorry,” he said to him before she turned to me.

“Kiss me.” I leaned into kiss Crystal and she did the same. Our lips touched gently against each other’s and my whole body felt like it was flying. I took Crystals hands and deepened the kiss as I did so.

“Crystal, no!” Paul shouted. Crystal and I kepi hold of each other’s hands but stopped kissing just in time to see a huge flash and I heard Crystal scream. Everything went blank after that.
