Napangiti si Maine sa mga naririnig na reaction. Nasa isang bookstore siya sa Ortigas, sa may VIP area nito. She's sitting in a comfy sofa while waiting for her husband to arrive.
She looked down at the book she's holding. She personally picked up her copy of it. Mas gusto kasi niyang makita ang mga reactions ng mga naghintay na mailabas iyon mula sa bookstores.
On her hand is the Third and Final book of Alden and her life story. They decided to make it a Trilogy to cover more bases about their life.
The first book is Alden's side of their story from the very beginning. His life history up to when he met her and a bit of their dating life and relationship.
The second book is her side of the story. Her life from childhood up to meeting Alden, short facts on their relationship.
The two books is written by them, word per word, that's why it took so long before it was release and announce to the public...Actually, after they got married and had their first child was it announced.
As for the cover, the front cover of book one is Alden's left side profile with him smiling, looking on the other side. Its back cover is his left hand in a half heart shape. Every reader of it would realize that the next book would be Maine's...with her right side profile smiling as the front cover and on the back is her other hand completing the half heart of Alden's.
So, if the two book already complete the whole picture of ALDUB if put side by side, everyone's asking what could be the cover for the last and final book.
They kept is a secret...only until it was the release date was it revealed.
The third and final book cover is a photo mosaic of all their picture to create the image of their first born, Athena Charmaine Mendoza-Faulkerson...and at the back cover... is a "thank you" dedication from both Alden and her, written in such a way that a space will be made to form a hand..at the bottom, is a simple note: "Para sa iyo, na kasama namin mula umpisa hanggang ngayon. Salamat sa kamay mo na hindi bumitaw at patuloy na sumuporta upang marating ang kaligayahang ito."
There will be a book launching event a few days after, kung saan may activity na all book buyer can stamped their hands on the space. Kaya naman excited na si Maine para doon. She always loves to see all their fans. Ganoon din si Alden. Pinag-iisipan na nga nila kung isasama ba nila si Athena sa event.
Her beaming smile is what greeted Alden. "Happy?" he asked.
"Always" she answered as Alden gives her a greeting kiss.
