Ava's Pov

Kayla and I are at a cafe right now. We decided to go out and get coffee, idk why but I guess why not.

"So I heard something interesting." Kayla says

"Okay, what is it?" I ask

"Jc told me he doesn't have feelings for you but Kian told me that he likes you a lot."  Kayla says

"I already know Kian likes me but Jc doesn't like me anymore, yay. Finally he moved on." I say

"No that isn't good, because Jc has been talking bad about you to everyone." Kayla says

"Wait what?" I ask

"I know you probably didn't expect that but it's true, sadly." Kayla says

"What about Kian?" I ask

"Oh Kian, he says he loves you but I think he is just saying that because he thinks your beautiful and he isn't truly in love with you for who you really are." Kayla says

"What? Why would Kian hang out with me all the time then?" I ask

"Because he wants you to like him." Kayla says

"Wow, I can't believe this." I say

"I know, I can't believe it either." Kayla says

"Thanks for telling me." I say

"Anything for my friend." Kayla says

We walk back into my apartment and Jc and Kian see us in the hallway.

"Hey." Kian and Jc says

"Hey guys!" Kayla smiles

I just ignore them and go inside of my apartment.

"Hey you wanna hang out?" Kian asks

"No." I say as I slam the door in his face.

Kian's Pov

"What's her problem?" I ask

"I don't know." Jc says

"Hey I forgot to tell you this but Kayla told me that Ava likes me!" I yell

"What? Kayla told me Ava likes me." Jc says

"What?" I ask

"We need to talk to Kayla." Jc says

"Yeah." I say

We knock on the door and Kayla answers.

"Guys she doesn't want to talk." Kayla says

"We need to talk to you." I say

"Okay." Kayla says

She closes the door behind her and walks out.

"Why did you tell us both that Ava likes us and she is gonna leave Matthew for us?" I ask

"Okay I lied so what?" Kayla asks

"You're causing problems." Jc says

"Sorry guys but I don't care, deal with it." Kayla says

"I'm telling Ava." I say

"Haha and if you do then I'm just gonna lie to her." Kayla says

"Did you lie to her and that's why she doesn't like us?" I ask

"Maybe." Kayla smirks

"Um, who do you think you are?" Jc asks

"I'm Kayla." Kayla says

"Actually you are a liar." I say

"Yeah I know." Kayla smiles

"Why are you so proud of that?" Jc asks

"Because why not." Kayla says

"I'm gonna talk to Ava." I say

"Oh no your not." Kayla says

She blocks the door, so I push her but she doesn't move.

"Move!" I yell

"No." Kayla says

"Move!" Jc yells

"Omg what's that!" She yells well pointing to the right.

Jc and I both look but there is nothing there. When we look back at the door, she is gone.

UGH!! She went inside and locked the door.

"Let's just come back later." Jc says

"Okay." I say

Kayla's Pov

I can't let Kian and Jc tell Ava the truth. I still have a lot in store.
