Ava's Pov

"Okay so he just invited me to meet his friends." I say

"When are you leaving?" Kian asks

"Right now." I say

"Wait can I come?" Kian asks

"Yeah." I say

"No fair." Jc says

"Next time." I say

"Fine." Jc says

"Tell us what his friends are like." Maddie says

"Okay." I say

Kian, Caleb, and I walk into his friend's house.

"Hey Chris." Caleb says

So many C names. Maybe he likes people with the letter C, since his best friend is named Chris, and his ex is named Courtney.

"Hi I'm Ava." I say

"I'm Kian." Kian says

"Hey it's nice to meet you." Chris says

"Nice to meet you too." I say

Kian and I follow them inside the house and we sit down in the living room.

"So how did you meet each other?"Kian asks

"Uhh." Chris says

"We um met." Caleb says

"Through another friend." Chris says

"We did??...Oh yeah, I mean we did." Caleb says

"Oh." Kian says

"It's fine if you guys don't like talking about it." I say

"No no no, I just didn't know how to explain it." Caleb says awkwardly

"Yeah me too." Chris says

"Okay, I need to go get some air." Caleb says

"I'll join you." Chris says

They both get up and walk out of the room.

"Okay something strange is happening." Kian says

"Maybe they are just awkward people." I say

"Listen to what they are saying to each other right now." Kian says

We both go silent and start to hear them talk.

"Do they know the truth about you?" Chris asks

"No." Caleb says

"You should tell them." Chris says

"No way." Caleb says

"They are gonna find out one day." Chris says

"I'm not gonna let that happen." Caleb says
