Kelley's POV:

We beat Nigeria! We are in the round of 16! We left Vancouver and traveled to Edmonton. I sat on the buss and played with my phone.

"Just call her." Christen said. "This is sad to watch. Call her."

I rolled my eyes and went into my contacts.

Your POV:

"Hello?"

"Y/N?"

"Kelley. What's wrong?"

"Please come back."

"Kelley I can't right now. I will but I can't."

"What if I play and you aren't here? Then what?"

"I'll still be watching from home. Kelley what's wrong? Seriously? Why are you freaking out."

"Because I miss you! I hated not talking to you. I hate that you think I would be distracted. I hate not having you here with me. AND I HATE THAT THE LEAGUE DIDN'T TAKE A BREAK!"

I laughed at the last one. "I have practice with the team. We do have a game coming up Kel." She sighed.

"What tickets do you have?" I heard walking and doors opening.

"Semifinals and the final." I said.

"If I can get you in for the round of 16 and quarterfinals will you come?"

"Here's your room assignments!" I heard someone yell.

"Kelley"

"Please? I'll pay for the whole thing!"

"With what money? US Soccer pays us shit."

"True." She said. "But I still have money. And I can get you with into the game. Please just come." There were more doors opening.

"I don't know Kel." I said. "We have a game the 28th against Sky Blue."

"You would have to play Sky Blue when I'm not there." She mumbled. "Damn you NWSL."

I shook my head. "Kelley."

"Ok! How about this." I heard typing. "The round of 16 game in on the 22. The quarterfinal game is the 26th. If I fly you out tomorrow, you can come to the game against Colombia on Monday?"

I sighed.

"Please! I need you here!"

"I'm coming for the semi final and final!"

"Ok but what if we don't make it there!"

"Are you having doubts about this team?"

"Do you not know who are coach is?"

"Good point." I opened my laptop and check all the dates for practice. "I have practice in the morning on the 27th. In New Jersey." I said. "I can't go to the quarterfinal."

"No you can ok. Please. It's a short flight from Ottawa to New Jersey. You can leave right after the quarterfinal and be at practice that morning!"

"I'll let you know." I said. "No promises though."

"But are you in for the round of 16 game?"

"Fine."

"COOL! I'll pick you up at the airport tomorrow."

We hung up and then I left to go out with Danny, Sofia and Arin.

"We should get together and watch the game against Colombia." Danny said. "Have like a watch party. That'd be fun."

"It would. I'm in." Sofia agreed.

"Me too. You in?" Arin asked.

"I actually can't."

"Why?"

"Kelley really wants me to be AT the game so"

"So she's flying you out." Danny finished. "That girl is in love with you." Sofia nodded.

"She wants me to go to the quarterfinal too. We have a game that Sunday." I said. "It's hard enough trying to go to Monday's game." I drank my beer.

"We'll you're going." Arin said. "To the game Monday. Quarterfinal? That's cutting it close."

"I know!" I put my drink down. "She doesn't get that I have games too."

"Why would you want to fly all the way out there to watch her sit on the bench though?" Danny said. We all looked at her. "What we all know Jill won't play her unless she REALLY has too."

We paid and left. "But I'll drop you off at the airport tomorrow." Arin said. "And pick you up when you come back."

"Tell Kelley we said good luck." Danny winked.

"Tell Christen and JJ that too."

"I will." I got in my car and drove home.
