"Are all the preparations finished?" Zuko gives the girl now hanging on his arm a nod. "Everything's set up, and in perfect timing too. The sun is setting." Klare grinned at Zuko's answer and started dragging him away from everyone else. "Good. Come here." "Where are we going?" She giggled as she peaked around a corner. "It's clear. Perfect."

Klare pulled Zuko one more time, into a dimly lit walkway next to the railing. She stumbled, however, Zuko was quick to catch her with an arm around her waist. She looked up at him after she had turned around, his arm never moving from her waist. Seeing Zuko's somewhat confused expression, Klare let out another giggle, closing her eyes happily as she did so.

The soft the of the setting sun hit her features perfectly, which amazed Zuko when he noticed. His eyes widened and heat rushed to his cheeks. What he didn't know, though, was that Klare was blushing just as much as he was. She scooted closer to him, turning a bit to watch the sun as it slowed descended in the sky. Noticing what she was watching, Zuko turned a bit as well to watch it with her. With a soft touch, Klare took hold of Zuko's hand on her waist and made him tighten his hold, and let her hand rest on his after. She smiled at nothing in particular and rested her head on his shoulder/arm.

"Zuky, do you... remember what I told you after that first storm we experienced together?"
"I think so. Wasn't it during a sunset like this one?"
"It was. Everything glowed because of the dew and puddles that the storm had left. But do you remember what I had said?"
"Not completely."

Klare sighed. "I see... Well, it was something along the lines of 'with every light there is a shadow, just like the sun forever has the moon. I hope that one day, we'll be able to face any hardship that comes between us and still be able to watch the sunset together again and again." Zuko smiled to himself. He had lied about not remembering, just so that she would say it again. "Now I remember. I guess that's one hardship down." "Yet there's many more to come."

It was quiet between them for a while, but it wasn't a bad feeling, more like a warm, peaceful silence. Klare looked down as the sun become barely a sliver of light on the horizon. She let her hair fall in front of her face, hoping in hid the frown that made its way onto it. "Zuky... there's a secret I've been meaning to tell you for years now, but I've been too scared to do so. For me to tell you, you have to promise that you won't think of me differently, okay?" Zuko looked down at her, confused and worried. "Okay. I promise, though there's no way I'd ever think differently of you after how long and how much I know you." 'I bet I could prove you wrong.' She thought sadly. 'Whelp, here goes nothing. Better me tell him here while we're alone then Rin tell him in front of Uncle and the whole crew.' "Zuko, my actual name isn't Klare, it's Ch-" "There you two are! We wouldn't want the captain of the ship and the only, precious, female passenger to be late for the party!" Rin popped up behind them, quickly glaring down at Zuko's arm and pushing them both apart. His grin was forever present as he began ushering them back to the others. Zuko sighed in annoyance as his uncle walked up to him and Klare dragged Rin away angrily.

When the pair of twins was far enough away from the rest of the crew, Klare stopped and turned to face her brother. "You did that on purpose."
He smirked. "You bet I did. If you had spilled yourself out to him, then that would have made it less entertaining for me. By the way, I gotta say, your lovey-doveyness with each other is disgusting. Are you guys even dating, I mean seriously."
Her face lit up a bright red. "Lo- what?! We don't act like that! We're just friends, not that you'd understand how that is."
"Sure, more like friends-with-benefits, if you ask me."
"Well, no one asked you!" She sent him one more glare before running back to everyone else.

"Klare! Klare!" "Miss Klare!" "Sing for us! Please!" "We heard you sing before! Please sing again!" Crew members quickly crowded around Klare when she joined them again. Her eyes widen in shock, but she smiled when her gaze fell on Zuko's hopeful, amber eyes. "Sure." They cheered and she made them all sit before she jumped onto a barrel that they had set up.
