What the heck is a Shanshan head!?

Where were we? Oh yeah, my hands lit on fire. Umm...... that doesn't exactly happen often. After getting horrified looks from Dominick and Dr. Scatterly, I felt like I needed to be alone to fully calm down.
"I..... I'm....." I couldn't even say that I was sorry. What was up with me? "Just fix Legend." I yelled and ran out of the room.
I'm not one to be over dramatic, but after my hands, I had a right to be.
I waited outside of the room near the lobby. I paced back and forth until Dominick strolled out of the room.
"Dr. Scatterly said that he's gonna try and see what he can do for your vivosaur."
I grabbed my necklace. I guess there is hope. I thought. This was the best news I've been given all day. "Thank you so much!!"

He shook his head. "While we wait, I'm gonna go clean some fossils."
"Okay. I'll just wait here." I said. Then I thought, how long am I going to be here? "Did Dr. Scatterly say how long it would take?"

He turned to me. "No... We don't know. It might be a few minutes, it might be several hours, it could be a few days. I dunno, and I don't think he does either. Why don't you come and help me clean? It'll pass time."

"Ehhhhh........." I thought about it. It would pass time. "Whatever. I'll go with you." I folded my arms.
He grinned. "Come on, I'll show you how it works." He turned and walked into a room probably meant for cleaning fossils or whatever.
"Okay, sounds fun." I mumbled.

We entered the room. Nothing too exciting. "So..... what did Dr. Scatterly mean when he asked if I was a fighter?"
"A fighter? Oh you know, we search and clean fossil rocks, revive dinosaurs, and battle each other with them."
He turned to some metal thing. "Hey KL, I've got some fossils I wanna clean."

Suddenly, the robot sprang to life. It was the coolest thing ever. Metal magic wasn't my parent's favorite, so they never taught it to me.
"Voot! Ready when you are, master. Beep!" It clicked and clanked. It grabbed some fossils and put them into some sort of machine. Probably a cleaning machine. I was fascinated. No, not by the fossils and the cleaning, but by the robot!!

"Whoa, is that your robot?" I asked, interested. "That's SICK!!" I walked around the thing, studying it. "You know I've never really practiced metal with my magic. Fire, ice, wind, earth, water, invisibility, protection, sleep, etcetera. Never metal though. It's really cool."

Dominick turned to me. "Magic. You keep talking about magic, like it's something legitimate."
I frowned. "Well it is. My parents taught me. You saw...... you saw my hands when I got mad. That's magic I still have to control. I accidentally got out of hand one time and....... let's just not talk about that. I can prove to you that I'm not lying."
He nodded slowly. "Y'know, I'm just starting my career as a fighter. I've seen a lot of weird things in the past two days. So sure, why not? Magic can be real."

Unless it was sarcasm..... That was easier than I thought. I formed an orb of water in my hand and it spun around on my palm. I hoped he would be fascinated, or at least thing it was cool. "See? Do you believe me now?"
He turned around and looked at the water. He shrugged like it was nothing. "I dunno. I'm pretty much open to anything at this point."

He turned back to his fossils. WHAT THE HECK!! I yelled in my head. First he's all like, "oh, magic? That can't be real!" Then he's like. "Well I guess it can be real." THEN he just shrugs as if to say, "Pfft, nothing special about magic. It's not like IT'S A SUPERNATURAL ABILITY THAT ONLY FEW CAN POSSESS."

"Fine." I muttered. "I'll just be here." I stood there, upset at him. I noticed the orb was still in my hand. Out of frustration, I splashed it in his face.

"Argh!" He wiped his face.

Now I know what you're thinking,
Alyssa! That's rude!
Well he clearly deserved it. Don't worry though, it was a tiny orb so it wasn't a lot of water.

"Now look what you made me do!" He groaned. "I broke this Shanshan head!"

I wanted to ask what that was, but I was too upset. "Oops, my bad." I paused. "I'm going to go check on Legend."

Trying to cool off, I went to Dr. Scatterly's office. I knocked on the door. I heard a muffled, "come in" from inside. I opened the door and Legend flew into my face. He was flying everywhere and was as happy as ever, which made me happy. I hugged him and grinned.

"The procedures went quicker than expected. Your little friend here is as good as new."
Dr. Scatterly declared.

"Oh, thank you so much! How much is it?" I asked him, joyfully.

"Oh no dear, it's free. I'm glad to help."

I smiled at him and went back to Dominick's room where he was gleefully holding a dinosaur head. Legend got one look at the robot and instantly didn't like him. The robot congratulated him on cleaning his Shanshan head thing. I thought about heading out, but I wanted to tell Dominick first.

"Right........... Congratulations. I'm leaving now."
And that's where Legend lost it. He roared and flew around the robot. He growled and tried to bite it. Was this apart of the medication or something?
"Legend, no!" I yelled. He flew over to me. "What was that all about?" I scolded him. He didn't respond.

"Is your vivosaur alright?" Dominick asked me. "He still looks kinda weird. He's all healed?"

"Yep! He's doing better than ever! We should be going now though. So thanks for everything, but I'm probably never going to see you again." I shrugged.

He stared at me. "What...... were you doing at that dig site? If you're not a fighter, then what exactly were you doing?"

"Simple." I said. "I was taking Legend for a ride. He likes flying, so I take him outside and we fly around the island. The vivosaur thing was attacking us. He got Legend's wing and we crashed."

"Hmm, and you have no idea who that guy was?"

"No....... no not at all I only really talk to the people at the bakery. I normally tend to avoid people otherwise."

He smirked. "Aren't you even the slightest bit curious as to who that guy was?"

I tried for a laugh. "I'm better off not knowing. Although, I know some people who might. C'mon, follow me, we're going to the bakery."

"At least let me finish cleaning these." Dominick gestured to his fossils.

"Fine." I said. "But hurry up."

"KL, let's revive this guy." He said.

"Ooh, my gears are sitting with anticipation!" The robot exclaimed.

"Right." I said slowly. "Anticipation, fun stuff. I'm going to go wait outside this place. The bakery isn't too far away at all. When you're done with that, meet me outside. Hey Legend, let's go!"
