Lost In Riddles// Tomione Fanfiction.

Potion Partner

Hermione's Pov

September, 1943// 11 : 00 pm

hermione lay in her bed thinking of a plan of how to make Tom riddle be friend with her.. and after how he reacted towards her tonight at the great hall was just a little rude. But hermione couldn't help but notice how perfect he was.. his eyes looking as gorgeous as a lilac sky though his eyes weren't purple it were dark green and she couldn't help but staring at them. Thoughts about Tom came flooding into her head, she thought about him the whole night and eventually she fell a sleep.

potions class//7 : 30 pm

it was potions class and professor Slughorn was teaching it ..Tom was sitting at the front row like always and was giving his full concentration on professor Slughorn's words and Hermione was also focusing on the class, she almost forgot why she came to past.

"i am going to set everyone partners this year as it will be quicker for us to learn all the potions in the 1st chapter on the book within 1 month.. keep in mind that your partners will stay paired with you till the end of the year." said Professor Slughorn while writing the names of the students he was gonna pair them up with.. and after he was done he started calling out the name so that the paired students can settle in on table together. "Fleamont potter and Euphemia rowle" the first two names he paired up and then " cedrella black and septimus weasley" and he continued till he read out "Tom Riddle and Hermione Granger." Tom had look at Hermione and smirked..Hermione took her book and her belongings and went to join Tom at the first row of table. "so what is your name?" asked tom acting friendly.. "Hermione, Hermione granger" said hermione nervously as she knew who she was talking to. "are you a pureblood, if you don't mind me asking?" asked Tom.. "most certainly i am" said hermione as briskly as she could, Tom seemed to interested in her already..

"alright class.. now that you paired up lets make our potions .. today we are going to be making the" Draught of Peace." said Professor Slughorn.. Tom rolled his eyes as if he doesn't like this potion at all but hermione was interested.. she brought the ingredients that were needed and placed them on the table (powdered moonstone, syrup of hellebore, powdered porcupine quills, and powdered unicorn horn)...She started to add the powdered moonstone and tom was just there staring at her as she added the ingredient. Tom was pouring the syrup of hellebore when hermione stopped him "stop, you were about to put too much." said hermione... and a sudden anger was showing in Tom's eyes but he raised an eyebrow and said "i didn't notice."

They were done making the potion.. and Professor Slughorn was checking everyone potion untill came across their potion. "this is perfect! 20 points to slytherin! good job Tom" said professor slughorn, "i wasnt the only one making the potion professor" said Tom .."oh yes, good job Ms granger" said Slughorn looking at hermione... "you're smarter than you look." said Tom jokingly, "why thank you, Vold-...i mean Riddle" said Hermione almost mistakenly.. "please don't call me riddle, you can call me tom" said tom a little angrily yet making it look friendly.. "sure." replied hermione stiffly.

Tom Riddle's POV

Professor Slughorn called out the names and Hermione came and sat next to Tom..

'perfect. maybe i can start working on my plan to get her on my side now' thought tom to himself.

tom noticed how eager she is towards learning almost as eager as Tom. professor Slughorn told them to make the Draught of Peace. Hermione started to put in the powdered moonstone, she made sure she was putting the exact amount written in the book. Tom being impressed on her knowledge started to asist her by pouring the syrup of hellebore. when she stopped him and said it was going to be too much.. Tom was a little angry..

" Overconfidence.. i like that but on me? is she challenging the star student of hogwarts .. how dare she... calm down Tom be friendly you need this person on your side." tom told himself in his head.

"this is perfect! 20 points to slytherin! good job Tom" shouted Slughorn.. but tom admired hermione's knowledge and hard work and said "i wasn't the only one making the potion professor.".. ""oh yes, good job Ms granger" said Slughorn proudly.. Tom gave hermione a smirk and hermione started blushing a little.

Tom Riddle's diary

September, 1943

My plan of getting Granger on my side has made some progress i guess as i am acting friendly towards her and she is responding in a nervous yet polite manner very soon she will be able to call me her 'friend' and i could call her my 'follower'. Also about my first horcruxe .. i just don't know what object i should choose.. i will keep you updated on my plans and progress.
