A Journey through time

Ch 11: time has effects on the past

"So where are we going ?", Manny asked as they walked outside the house

"A clearing up ahead ", Tony simply explained

"Where is that ? Are we close ? Is it gonna take long ? How does it look like?", Manny asked with multiple more questions popping in his head.

"Curious little one aren't you?", Tony asked with a bit of annoyance.

Manny shrugged but was still Afraid of the clock.

"But if you must know , it's what the clearing has that is important ", Tony explained as they passed a few bushes.

"What do you-", Manny was about to ask .

"And here we are ", Tony announced .

The clearing was bright green with a few symbols which looked like they where freshly cut .

"Hold my hand Manny , and tend not to speak this will take all of my concentration ", Tony ordered.

Manny obeyed but with a bit of hesitation.

Tony walked towards the center of the clearing and closed his eyes.

Manny looked around and saw that the symbols where glowing.

Before he knew it, blackness surrounded them both.

Tony opened his eyes.

"Right, now follow this way ", he said , letting go of Manny's hand.

Manny followed, looking around the black abyss.

It almost seemed like his dream or constant  nightmare he should say.

Manny looked around with a frown , this place didn't seem right to him.

"why are we here?", Manny asked in a whimper.

"Well here we will find our transportation to travel through time ", Tony explained like it was obvious.

"So....what is this place anyway ?", Manny asked looking around a bit worried .

"This is the blend of dream and reality , a borderline of what's real and what's not ", Tony tried explaining as he kept moving forward not looking back .

Manny noticed he was getting left behind and soon quickened the pace.

"So what are we looking for exactly?"

Tony rolled his eyes .

"We are looking for a red payphone box , you know those old ones ", Tony explained while looking around.

Manny stopped, thinking.

That's the kind of thing he saw in his dreams .....the one Harry called through .

He closed his eyes shut, trying to remember where it was .

He could feel the presence of it, he couldn't explain the feeling , but it was there ...calling to him.

"Manny?"

Manny immediately opened his eyes, snapping back into reality.

He was breathing heavily as he looked at Tony .

Tony looked at him with confusion.

"We mustn't waist time ,hurry up ",

Tony said as he continued to walk.

Manny looked around, trying to remember, trying to feel where it was.

Manny !

Manny turned towards a direction.
