A Gathering of Companions!

Serena POV

"It has been 3 years huh" I thought to myself. 3 years since the day the boy I love left me. He went to pursue his dream and he wanted me to make mine come true. I understand why he left. He felt like he needed some help, which is totally understandable. I would have helped, but sadly I know nothing about Pokemon battling. I just copy what Ash does. So I wasn't no use. It still hurts me to this day I couldn't help. I continued to think until my thoughts were interrupted by a phone call, I answered

"Hello?"

"Is this Serena Yvonne?"

"Yes, may I ask whom I'm talking to"

"My name is Delia. Delia Ketchum, Ash's mother"

As soon as she said that, my heart dropped. After all these years she calls? I immediately start to cry, I'm thinking she is gonna pronounce him dead after all these years. He's not dead! I know he isn't. I continued to think until she spoke again

"Serena? Are you there? Look I'm sorr-"

"No no Ms.Ketchum, you're fine. I'm just wondering why did you call?"

"Well, I want to invite you to my house in Kanto. I'm having something special for Ash and I want you to he here"

I started to cry, I don't think I could go to Kanto. Its where me and him first met. I gave a little courage to myself and answered

"I would love to. I haven't been there in a while. When are you going to have this occasion?"

"In 3 days, I'm so happy you're coming! See you then!"

"Bye Ms.Ketchum!"

3 days? I've gotta get ready...

The 3 days went by slow for Serena. She finally got on a plane and headed to Kanto. Her mind was racing with thoughts. She got to Viridian City airport and stepped out. She was shocked by all the views. It amazed her. It was similar to Kalos, but very different. She followed her way through Viridian Forrest, she then found Pallet Town. She took in the amazing view, it was just like Vanville. She walked past Oaks lab and recalled all her memories here. She smiled, she continued to walk until she saw a mail box. "Ketchum Residence" it said. She hesitated at first, but walked up to the door. She knocked a few times. The door answered, but she was greeted by a girl around her age. She had silky, smooth hair. It had golden locks hold strands of hair. It was all under a white beanie with a pink pokeball symbol. The girl squealed

"ITS THE KALOS QUEEN. MS.DELIA THE KALOS QUEEN IS HERE"

Serena sweat dropped, after winning the title, she had a lot more publicity. She was still new to this. Then a woman who was fairly larger walked around the corner. She had brown hair and was tied into a ponytail. She spoke up

Delia:"Calm down Dawn, I know who she is. I invited her here"

Dawn looked at her with stars in her eyes, "YOUVE GOT TO TEACH ME YOUR WAYS. YOURE AMAZING!"

Serena nervously laughed, "um okay?"

Delia sighed, "Come on in, everyone is here now"

Serena got confused, "everyone?" she mumbled to her self. She then walked inside and went to the living room. She then saw Clemont Bonnie and ran straight to them and gave them a hug. She also saw a mahogany hair boy, a short red hair girl, a tall darker boy with black hair, a brunette with a green bandana, a boy with black hair and glasses, a taller boy with green hair and a suit on, and finally a girl with long purple hair and a Pokemon sticking out from it. Everyone chatted with each other until Delia spoke up

Delia:"Well you all are probably wondering why I called you hear. I know all of y'all traveled with Ash through his journeys, except for Gary. I just want all of us to get to know each other better and share a few moments about Ash. I know its hard on everyone, so I thought we should do this to help each other out."

Everyone agreed, she also suggested how it all started. Starting with Gary

Gary nervously chuckled, "Well me and Ashy-boy go way back. I consider him more as family than I do as a rival and a best friend. I remember how we got our first Pokemon. Ash overslept and was late to Gramps. I manage to get a squritle. He ran into me and I told him, "you snooze, you loose. See ya later Ashy-boy" ah man. What great times. Ash turned out to be a good trainer. He proved me wrong"

Delia looked at him with a huge smile and tears in her eyes. Then it went to Misty.

Misty:"Well I was fishing and I pulled Ash out of the water. Pikachu needed help and he stole my bike. My bike kinda got destroyed but we did become great friends."

The bandana girl and Dawn spoke up, "Mine too!"

They all chuckled, it continued all the way around the room until it go Serena. She let out a sigh

"I actually knew Ash before he came to Kalos. I was here for a Pokemon summer camp when we were little"

Gary spoke up, "Hey that's why I thought I knew you from somewhere, you looked familiar"

Serena nodded and continued, "Well he was battling for his first gym badge at Santalune City. He lost and went to train and I followed because he left his bag. While he was training, he got lost in thought on how to beat Viola. He was dirty but I gave him a rag to whip himself off. I then asked if he remembered me. He didn't at first but he still wanted me to tag along. The next day he challenged her again. He got stuck during the battle, I then yelled "remember your traning!" he then came up with an idea and won. After the battle he asked me if I wanted to come along on his journey. I accepted. Well while going to the next town, Clemont asked me what made me come along. I then showed everyone a blue handkerchief. It was Ash's. You see Ash helped me when I was little. I fell and hurt my knee and he helped me. He wrapped it up and told me his favorite quote, "Never give up til its over, kay?" I always followed that quote. I was very thankful to be able to see him again. He made me become a performer and look at me now, I'm the Kalos queen."

She then looked around and saw all the girls in tears, she saw Delia. Delia was crying as well. Serena started to tear up and ran and gave Delia a hug.

Serena while sniffling, "I miss him just as much as you do Me.Ketchum"

Delia smiled and whipped hee tears, "I know sweetie, please call me Delia"

Serena nodded in agreement. They all exchange on something they all loved about Ash. When Serena spoke, Gary smirked. He knew she was in love with his best friend. He hoped just as much that he was alive along with everyone else. They continued to talk about things when all of the sudden the power went out.

Gary:"What the hell, what happened?"

Brock:"I don't know. The Tv won't turn on"

"Someone check the radio," Clemont suggested.

They all where scrambling around to find anything that worked. Serena got up and walked outside. She turned to see a bright light. Her heart collapsed. She barely could get out her next sentence. "G-g-g-g-guys l-l-l-look"

Everyone went outside and was stopped by a loud siren, they turned to Serena's point of view. Everyone's heart collapsed. They saw a big mushroom cloud(that means a bomb went off. Like a big atomic bomb)

Everyone barely managed to get out the next two words due to the shock, "Oh no...." is all they could say........
