Morgan's POV
"You're back already? How's Reid?" Emily asks and the team gathers around.
"I think he's a little pissed at me" I say
"Why's that?" Hotch asks
"The doctor told him to take it easy and he wanted to come into work. I told him that he needed to take some time off and that you would agree with me. You know how he is. He shuts us out when terrible things happen and he works to avoid his problems..."
"Hotch he can't do that this time." I add
"You're right" Hotch says
"So how do we help him?" JJ worries
"The best thing we can do for him right now is be his friend and let him know we are there for him. He will open up to us when he's ready." Gideon says
"No babying him you two. The last thing we need is him getting angry and not coming to us at all." He adds pointing at Garcia and JJ.
"Whaaaaattt? I don't... I would never" Garcia defends
"Oh but baby girl, you do." I add with a laugh
"You hush eyebrows" she says and walks back to her officers while we all let out a chuckle.
"Alright, let's get back to work we still need to solve this case. JJ and Emily will you go talk to the parents and find out if the victim had any enemies. Gideon you go to the crime scene and Morgan you stay here to catch up, we will meet back here in a couple of hours" Hotch says and everyone files out except the two of us
"I'll be back soon, start creating a profile" Hotch asks
"Wait, where are you going?" I ask
"I need to go talk to Reid" he says
"Yeah, good luck with that" I say and start reading the files ready to catch another criminal.
