"Wha...what?Why?" The room is still silent. I feel Yousef's fists clench against my leg.
How does he know?
"Because every single person in this room knows about your pathetic story." He imitates my voice "I slept with somebody but he lied to me and said it never happened!"
"But.." Tears are forming in my already red eyes.
"Leave her alone!" Shane shouts at him. I'm surprised. He breaks the silence.
"Yeah! Leave her alone Adande!" Alex and Lauren both shout and stand up.
"Leave her alone!" Colleen, Mamrie, Hannah and Grace shout at the same time.
"LEAVE HER ALONE! LEAVE HER ALONE!" Everyone starts chanting at the top of their voices. They all stand up. Even Yousef stands up. They all are against Swoozie. No judgement. Just purely standing up for me and wearing out their voices.
I clutch the small box that will tell me my destiny. Lots of YouTubers have kids right?
I whisper to Yousef. "I want to take this test."
The time is up. I sit on the toilet seat with it next to me. I'm not daring to look, not daring to open my eyes as i grab it, not ready to see the result.
Then I open my eyes and look at the result.
It's positive.
