"Pregnant? Bahj, what you mean pregnant?" I said with awe. "You can't be.."

"I don't know. I haven't had my period this month."

"Maybe your cycle is irregular. It happens sometime." I say trying to reassure her.

"Yeah. Come on let's go before we're late to school."

"Okay."

We walk out to my Camaro and drive to school in silence. The only sound is Beyonce on the radio.
