"This is going to be so much fun" Mary squeals while we drive over to my house
"Calm down its just a sleepover" Kate rolls her eyes
We pull up to my drive way.
I really hope this goes well.
"It's not haunted right" Kate asks me again
"No" I lie
We get out and they grab their bags, I unlock the door I don't see Luke anywhere he must be in the basement.
"Make yourself at home" I say, I hear Kate scoff
"It's a nice house I didn't really get a good look that night but it's pretty I actually always wanted to come in this house" Mary says
"My mom always told me to stay away from this house" Kate says
"So uh what do people do at sleepovers?" I ask them
"Well we can watch movies eat junk food and just talk anything really" Mary shrugs
We go upstairs we all change into pajamas and put on pitch perfect.
I was actually having a good time.
I haven't seen Luke since this morning I hope he's okay?
" which color do you want?" Mary asks Kate
"Pink" Kate says Mary starts painting her nails
I look up to see a shadow by the door then Luke comes into view.
"Hey" he says smiling
I give him a small smile.
I don't want to talk and have them ask who I'm talking to and seem like a crazy person.
"Having fun" he asks, I give him a thumbs up
"Can I sit for just a minute" he pouts, I nod my head
He walks over and sits on my bed.
"Where's your aunt?" Mary asks me
"She's working late" I tell her
"I bet it's creepy to be in this house all by yourself" Kate says
"At first but I've gotten used to it" I shrug and look at luke who's watching pitch perfect
"I don't think I could I would have nightmares every night" Kate shivers
I notice Luke expression look kind of sad.
"How's cheerleadering going?" I ask Kate changing the subject
"Well we just learned this new routine and-" she gets cut off by a noise
I look at Luke and he's looking at me.
"What was that" Mary whispers
"Probably nothing" I say but then I hear it again
"There's no one else in this house right" Mary asks I can tell she's trying not to freak out
"No just us" and Luke
"I'm not dying in this house" Kate says freaked out
I watch Luke walk over to the window and sighs " it just some high school boys throwing stuff at the window"
I walk over to the window and he's right "it's just Jeff and Eli" I sigh
"What are those idiots doing here"Kate rolls her eyes
