I don't want to let Luke go. I don't care how selfish that sounds I just found him and I have no one else but aunt Lora

Maybe I can just live in the house for the rest of my life and keep him company?

But we could never have a normal life, we couldn't ever be like other people and I will get older and he will stay the exact same age forever.

I open the door and go straight into my room.

I see Luke on my bed.

"I told you I would be here when you got back" he smirks but stops when he sees my face "what's wrong?"

He stands up and walks over to me and gives me a hug, I hug him back tight not ever wanting to let go of him.

"I went to Mary's house and I talk to her grandma" I say quietly

I walk over and sit on the bed, he sits next to me.

"What happened?" He asks

"She told me what happens when you don't move into the light in time" I tell him

"I already know" he says sadly

"I don't want that to happen to you" I say

"Hey" he grabs my face "I'll be okay, Ive got you" he smiles

"But I'm going to die one day too and then you will be all alone again" a tear escapes my eye "I helped Mary's grandmother move on today"

"How did that feel?" He asks me

"Good really good" I tell him

"I'm not ready to go" he says with tears in his eyes

"I'm not either I just found you"

He looks at me still holding my face with his hands.

And does something I didn't think he would ever do.

He kisses me.
