Chapter 19: The Boat Fight

Everybody knew the plan and we're going to save Simon. Jace and I needed to go inside the boat to search for Simon. I sent Jace because he's a skilled fighter and if Alec was with me he would constantly worry about me so annoying. Cute but annoying. And me well mostly because of my new smelling powers, but also because from the newbies I'm the best fighter. I hope they succeed in their mission. We walked below deck and there we saw two demons, but they were not just normal demons. No, they were greater demons who transforms into your greatest fear. This shadow hunter world is almost like magic. The first demon transforms into valentine, that's Jace's biggest fear, and mine transfers into Camille. Man I hate that woman. They were mocking us and we were afraid at first, but then I remembered something. "Jace we need to get over our fears if we want to stop Valentine from turning the world into his slaves". "Thanks Soph, that's very helpfull. But how did you think you would do that miss smarty pants". He asked me annoyed and sarcastically. "Well I thought maybe I could invite them over for tea, what do you think?". I told him while rolling my eyes. "Okay okay I'm sorry, I didn't want to wind you up. But do you have an idea about how you want to do it?" Hmm, that's a though one. I didn't thought about that. "Jace we need to stand up to them and believe in ourself, do you think you can do that?" "Yes, I think I can". He replied. Okay, now comes the difficult part of our plan. How the hell do I need to step up to Camille. Wait a minute this isn't the real Camille, this is a demon. I thought about Raphael and about the moments we shared. It works, it freaking works. I knew it, and as far as I can see Jace did it too. They were weak and they knew it. We both took one dagger out of our belt. "Ready Soph?" He asked me. "As ready as I'll ever be" I replied to him. Then we both stung a dagger through the demons and they were gone. "Good work, you will be a great shadow hunter". Jace told me. "Thanks, you will be a good one too". "Wait but I'm already a shadow hunter". "Oh really?" "Yeah, really". "Really really?" Yes, really really". "Oh really really rea-" the rest of the sentence was silenced by Jace. "Yes of course I'm a shadow hunter. I'm a fucking shadow hunter since my birth, and can you now just shut up for a minute and concentrate on finding Simon and Maya?" Jace asked me. "Yes of course I can dear big cousin of mine, you know you're my favorite big cousin right?" "But you only have one big cousin". "Yes I know and you're my favorite one", I told him while we were searching for Simon and Maya. "Jace wait". "What is it, do you smell something?" "Yes, it's coming from the room at the end of the hall to the right". "Great job, come on then we can save the vampire and the werewolf". "Hey don't talk about Simon like that, he's family". I snapped at him. "Alright sorry, it just he's really good at getting on my nerves". Ah poor Jace he's just jealous about Clary and Simon. "Hey Jace, I know your jealous because he's got Clary. But just so you know she loves Simon like a brother and she loves you way more then that". I saw his eyes lighting up and then he said "really, she loves me?" I mentally face palmed, seriously he doesn't know that she loves him how blind can you be. "Yes Jace, she loves you. I can't believe you didn't see it, whenever she's around you she's acting like a lovestruck puppy". He laughed and then we were at the room. He told me to be quiet so I did, then he kicked the door in. Seriously Jace, and I need to be quiet. When the door opened I was completely disgusted. I saw Simon and maya laying there, they were completely covered in blood and they didn't move. Jace and I ran to Simon first and I saw he was hungry, then Jace gave him his blood. Simon was alive again, well alive I mean undead. Then we went to maya and I didn't know what we needed to do, just like the others. We just stood there and then my hands moved, like they were moved by a force, and I lay them on her stomach. Then there came purple sparks and she sat up again. I've got no idea how I did that but it's absolutely amazing. Then Clary bursted trough the door and then Valentine came in with the cup and the sword. Great, I thought we didn't have to see that creep anymore. Then the devil opened it's mouth "Hello my dear family, it's really great to see you all again. No that's not true, it's a shame to see you again". "Yes, that's what I thought too". I replied to him with my most sweetest smile, hey you know what they say: 'Keep you friends close and your enemies closer'. He looked at me as if I was an insect, damn that fucking idiot. I'm so looking forward to kill him. "Great you're here too" he asked me rather annoyed. "Yep, if you've got a problem with that you'd just need to leave". Then he was talking to Jace and Clary again about how he wanted them join him, blah,blah,blah. I kind of zoned out, I do it all the time when my "uncle" talks. He's a bit boring with his whole "take over the world" things. Clary told him "no, I said it to you a few months ago at your house and I say it now. I'm not going to help you, and neither are the Lightwoods, Jace, Simon, Sophie, Max, Magnus and the downworlders. So you can say bye to your 'take over the world' plans". I'm so proud of my little sis. Then I heard Max in my head "Soph, I need you they're with too much out here". Oh poor Max, "I'm coming, just stay there okay?" "Okay" "oh and Max?" "Yeah, what is it?" "Don't die", "seriously sis? Was that really necessary, good advice by the way. That helps a lot". I heard him roll his eyes at me, "well, yeah that was necessary and your welcome". I grinned and then I run back to the way I can from. When I opened the front door it was really horrible, a lot of shadowhunters were here also a lot of downworlders and a great lot of demons. There was one running straight at me, it swung it's tail to hit me but I was faster. I dodged it and stabbed it three times through the heart, then it became ash and disappeared. There was a lot of blood, I didn't know Jace and Clary ran after me. He told me that his dad knocked him and Clary out and got more blood of Simon and Maya. We came by the inquisitor and she held Jace at his shoulders and was yelling things. I couldn't hear because I was to busy fighting for my life. There was one demon who almost killed Jace, luckily I came to the rescue and killed the demon. Then Jace shoulder wasn't covered with his t-shirt and the inquisitor stared and gasped, she wanted to say something but we didn't know what because a demon killed her. I saw Izzy, Max and Alec fighting a little bit further away and ran to them to help them. They were pretty good but one demon bit Izzy and she was poisoned, Alec lay her by the stairs so she couldn't be found by demons and ran of to fight other demons. Of course it was not his choice but that from Izzy, if it was his choice he stayed seated and waited by her side till the battle was over. Suddenly the boat blew up and everyone got tossed into the ocean, the seelies helped us by bringing us to safety. I fell into the ice cold water and I felt myself being picked up by someone, when I surfaced I took a deep breath and when I looked at the one next to me I was relieved to see Raphael. He brought me to the floating car of Luke which my dad, Max, Alec, Luke, Clary, Jace, Simon and Izzy were at. I saw it was almost time for the sun to rise so I got panicked "Raphael, Simon, you two need to go like right now" they looked at the sky and they both smiled at me. Oh hell no, if they're going to do what I think they're going to I'm gonna kill them. Clary started to cry and me too, I just wanted Raphael and Simon to get away so badly. I didn't want them to get hurt, suddenly I didn't feel Raphael's hand anymore so I cried because I thought he was dead. But when I looked up I saw nothing, not even ash so I cried even harder. I looked to my left and I saw Simon, but he just sat there. He was alive, well as alive as you can be as a vampire. I was so happy I hugged him "omg Simon, I though you died. I swear Simon Lewis if you ever do that to me again I'll kill you, I don't care if you will heal or not I'll kill you" he laughed and hugged me "I love you too". "Wait but where's Raphael?" I looked around me frantically but I couldn't find him, please be not dead. Alec hugged me and we went back to the dock, we all stood up and got out of the floating car. I ran to the hotel as fast as I could and I barged through the door, I ran upstairs and I saw him sitting there on a couch and I ran to him. I jumped on him and kissed him passionately and then I slapped him "what the hell Santiago, I thought you were dead!" "Actually I thought too, but then when I opened my eyes I was back at the hotel. I've got no idea how I got here" then it all clicked, I probably transported him to the hotel. I don't really care, I'm just glad he's okay and most of all that he's not ash because it's pretty hard to kiss that. I slept at the hotel again, he held me in his arms for the rest of the night and I haven't been happier in my whole life.
