14. No Response

Shawn's POV

After all the drama, we knew we had to go back to Canada because we can't be having fun with Leo all stitched up.

When we were in Canada, we were headed to my parent's house, cause they were eager to see Leo. When we arrived, Leo did what he usually did. He ran and gave "ama" (grandma) a hug, and then ran back and gave "ampa" (grandpa) a hug.

Brook and I left the kids in my parent's house and headed back home to unpack. When we finished unpacking, we picked up the kids and went to Brook's parent's house so they could see Leo too. It was now dawn, the kids were already asleep, we went back to bed to rest a bit.

*1 year later*

When we woke up, I made breakfast for the kids and Brook woke them up when it was ready. "Shawn! Shawn! Sh-" Brook yelled loudly, so loud, my ears hurt. I knew something went wrong, I ran to Ronie's room, where Brook was crying, yelling in anger. "Wh- what's wrong-" I said slowly. Brook didn't say a word but kept crying. "Tell me what's wrong!" I yelled. "Sh- she-" Brook tried to talk. I think I knew what had happened. "Ronie!" I yelled as loud as I could, I even scared the kids. --But she didn't wake up. "Ronie!" I yelled EVEN louder. No response. I picked her up from bed and shook her as hard as I could. "Ronie! Don't fake it!" I yelled, but still no response. "Ch- check he- her p-pu-pulse." Said Brook slowly. I checked her pulse. "N- n- no! Call 911." I said loudly. All the kids were crying, they didn't know what was happening. The ambulance was here, we were trying to keep calm, but it was impossible, our daughter just-
