Chapter 4 - Forgiven
"Have you forgiven me yet cutie?" Tayte asked,
"No" I said,
"I brought you a vanilla and white chocolate milkshake and a millionaire shortbread". Hmmm tempting to forgive him, he turned and looked at me, "Arii please",
"Tayte look at road" I said,
"No, not until you forgive me"
"Tayte, we'll crash" He turned back and then let go of the steering wheel, I put my hand on it "Tayte" I said smiling,
"La la la" God he was immature,
"I forgive you Tay'", He grinned and put his hands back on the wheel,
"Love you cutie"
"Unfortunately I love you too",
"Listen to you two love birds" Noah piped up from the back,
"Hey less of that" I said, but with a smile on my face. My phone then buzzed, I slipped it out my pocket as Tayte stuck the radio on. It was from an unknown number, I opened the text.
-RUNNING R WE? U WONT 4EVER WILL BE SEEING UR PRETTY FACE SOON ENOUGH!! AMZED U DIDN'T RECOGNISE ME @ UR HOUSE HONEY – CYLAN P.S SEND MY LOVE 2 UR BROTHERS ND TAYTE YEAH
I froze, my heart literally stopped and for a second I couldn't breathe. It was as if time had stopped. Realisation hit me as I remembered who Cylan was.
"Tayte...Tayte can you stop the car please" I said,
"Arii, what's wrong?" Keane and Noah asked,
"Tayte...please" I said, he indicated and pulled over on the hard shoulder, cutting the engine and getting out, my brothers did the same but Tayte beat them to my door and opened it, I dropped my phone and fell into his arms, he picked me up into his arms,
"Arii, sis, your scaring me what's the matter?" Noah asked, as I clung to Tayte,
"This is what's the matter" Keane said, showing Noah the phone, he took it and read the text. I was still tightly clung to Tayte,
"Keane, Noah" Tayte said, Noah held up the phone and he read it, Keane moved round to face me,
"Arii" He said softly, "It's going to be okay, I promise you, look at me", I looked up, "Right now, all I want to do is keep you safe, so I think we should get back in the car and go somewhere where we can talk okay", I nodded,
"I love you" I whispered
"And we all love you too so much and won't let anything happen to you", Keane then took the keys from Tayte, with me still in his arms; he opened the passenger door at the back and slipped in. Tayte strapped me in and then sat right next to me, his arm around me as I leant in. Silence hit the car like a crash. I couldn't believe I didn't recognise him at the house and that this was the main reason why we were going on this road trip in the first place. I shut my eyes, feeling safe in Tayte's arms.
Keane's POV
"If I ever see that son of a bitch again, I will literally kill him" I snapped, how dare he text Arii,
"Not if I get my hands on him first" Noah said,
"Guys, I'll be at the front of the queue" Tayte said quietly, so not wake Arii.
"Shit, I just can't believe he would text her, how'd he get her number in the first place", my hands were shaking,
"Keane, there is no point in getting worked up about it now, it's okay, just calm down" Noah told me softly. He's right; there was no point in me getting in a fuss and causing harm to anyone. I calmed down, for a few minutes at least. Cars began to slow in front of me. Fucking perfect, another bloody traffic jam. "It's just traffic Keane, don't you dare get mad", I couldn't help but smile at my brother, I really did love him, though he was younger than me, he knew how to calm me down, I couldn't ask for anyone else.

"Is she still asleep?" Noah asked,
"Yeah" Tayte replied,
"You love her don't you" I said,
"No more than you or Noah do"
"Noah, can you smell that...?" I said, he sniffed,
"Yeah I can"
"Alright guys, funny, funny", we both smiled,
"We've seen the way you are around her for a long time now"
"What's the supposed to mean?"
"You love our little sister more than anything and you wish she loved you more than just another big brother", I said, he looked at the sleeping Arii in his arms and then at Noah and I,
"I do love your little sister more than anything; I just wish she could see it, like you said",
"She does" Noah said, "I know she does, she just doesn't want to admit it"
"Just to let you know, you're the only guy we'd actually let our baby sister with, so when you do finally get her, you never let her go" I told him.
Ariiayla's POV
Next time I opened my eyes it was dark outside, it does get dark quickly now though since it's early November. I noticed we were still in the car unfortunately. How long was I asleep? I also noticed I was still in Tayte's arms. I sat up,
"Sorry" I said,
"For what?" He answered confused,
"You must have a dead arm", he laughed,
"I'd take more than a dead arm for you", I smiled.
"Okay Sis'?" Noah asked,
"I am knowing I have you three with me, are we close to a travel inn or something?"
"10 miles from the next services and we're going to stay there, so let's hope they have a MacDonald's for you" Keane said, I smiled.
"I could really do with a Mac right now",
