~In the hospital~ ~Third Person POV~

Dean sat next to your bed, he's barely moved in the past three days. He had the beginning of a beard, bloodshot eyes, and dark shadows under his eyes. Sam knew he needed to do something, he just didn't know what.

"Dean, let's go get some food." Sam said, leaning against the wall opposite your bed. Dean didn't even blink, just kept looking at you and and holding your hand. Sam sighed and went into the hall, closing his eyes. He sent another prayer to Cas, begging him to come. But of course he didn't answer. They hadn't seen him in months. Sam felt furious. Dean losing the woman he loves and his best friend in the same time frame, it was crushing Dean. Sam made his way to the cafeteria, he had to get Dean to eat.

Dean sighed and rested his head against the bed, letting out a couple dry sobs. He sat up, clearing his throat and holding your hand tighter.

"Y/n, I don't know why I'm doing this. I don't know if you can even hear me, but I need to get it out. Don't you ever apologize for not making me happy. Because- Because that's all you did. Every moment with you gave me hope in humanity. Knowing I would see you was the reason I got out of bed every day. So if you think that I only wanted you to have a kid, you are so wrong. It was never about that. You wanted a child, and I wanted to make you as happy as you make me. When you left, I didn't know what to do. Everything that made me happy was gone, and I-" His voice broke on the next part, "I didn't know how to get you back. But I finally found you. You were so angry, I couldn't help but smile. Because even seeing you angry meant I was seeing you. And if I was seeing you, everything would be okay. Y/n, if you're sorry for not making me happy, then you're sorry for nothing. And I want you to know that I love you. I love you so much, and I'll be here until you wake up." He finished off, picking up your bruised hand and pressing a kiss to it.  It was a few more minutes, and Sam came in with food. Dean picked off a few things, but barely ate.

"Alright, enough. I know this is a hard time for you, but if you don't eat you won't be here when Y/n wakes up. And do you want that?" Sam asked, and Dean turned to look at him.

"I'm sorry Sam, is my grief an annoyance to you? If so- you can leave." Dean shot back, and Sam inwardly groaned.

"No Dean, I want to keep you going. You need to sleep, I'll sit with Y/n and if she shows any signs of anything I'll wake you up." Sam promised.

"You swear, if even the slightest thing happens?" Dean asked, and Sam nodded. Dean agreed, and walked over to the couch that Sam had been sleeping on the night before.

"Good night Dean." Sam said, Dean pulled the blanket over himself.

    "Night."

~Your POV~

After everyone had breakfast, you all piled into the cars for Cassia's dance recital. She was practically bouncing off the walls with excitement.

"Slow down there sweet pea, or you'll tire yourself out before you even get there." You said, and she nodded before calming down a bit.

"Mommy, is uncle Sam gonna be there?" Aiden asked, and you turned around to look at him.

"You bet ya." You replied, turning around and putting your seat-belt on. Dean got into the driver's seat of his precious Impala, turning on the car. Classic rock instantly played from the radio. You and Dean sang along while the kids complained. Upon arriving, Cassia practically flew out of the school and into the building.

"Have fun honey! We'll be in the audience and we'll meet you backstage after!" You called, and Dean grabbed your hand as you lead your other two kids into the auditorium. You sat next to Sam, Jess, and Marie and the director of the dance company came to announce a few things.

"Dean, get your camera out. I want to film Cassia's performance." You whispered to him, and he did as he was told. Cassia's dance group was the third one, and it was amazing. She had a solo and everything. You were as proud as you'd ever been.

"Let's go meet her backstage." You said after it was over, and the whole Winchester clan began making their way backstage. Cassia ran out, and you pulled her into your arms.

"That was great kid! You must get your moves from your momma." You said, just as Dean walked up.

"More like your dad. Good job princess." Dean commented, grabbing Cassia's hand and leading her towards everyone else. Suddenly you heard something, like a song that's been stuck in your head. But it was words.

Everything that made me happy was gone, and I didn't know how to get you back. But I finally found you. You were so angry, I couldn't help but smile.    You had no idea who that was or what that was about, but now you knew something was going on.
