~(Y/n)s P.O.V.~
I sat back down in the chair across from Slender with the two proxies beside me.
"Are you okay, (y/n)?" Slender asked.
"I'm a-okay," I say with a smile on my face.
"Good. Now, I want to tell you why you're here," he said.
"Okay," I say.
"I've been interested in having you as my proxy since you were very young. I want you as my proxy because you have something special. You can't feel true fear," he said. "As a child you were never afraid of the dark. You were never afraid of spiders or snakes. In fact, you loved them (sorry if you are afraid of them). You weren't afraid when Jeff climbed into your bedroom or when you caught my proxies. Another reason you're here is because you are abnormally strong. You could probably rip a full grown oak tree out of the ground if you wanted to. I know you will make a phenomenal proxy." He gave off a positive aura as though he were smiling. "You will have to share a room with someone for a night or two while your room is being worked on. What are your favorite colors?" He said.
"(F/c) and (second f/c or 2/f/c)," I said. "Also, can I cook dinner tonight? I saw that you have a really nice kitchen and I want to try it out."
Even though I couldn't see it, I could feel that he was smiling again. "Of course. That would be perfect," he said.
"Thank you." I smiled back at him. I stood up and left the room with Masky and Hoodie trailing behind.
"Do you guys know where everyone else probably is?" I asked.
"Yeah. Why?" Hoodie asked.
"I want to meet everyone and see if there's anything they don't like or are allergic to. Don't want to accidentally kill someone on the first day," I said.
"Let's check their rooms first," Masky said.
~le time skippy~
I found out that E.J. refuses to eat anything that doesn't involve kidneys, Jane is allergic to garlic, and everyone is cool with pizza, except for Jane. She wants Jeff's head for dinner, but I don't think that'll work out.
I started working in the kitchen. I decided to make everyone home-made personal pizzas. I made E.J.'s with giant chunks of kidney on it, Jeff, Jane, and Liu's with the pepperoni carved into little knives, the gamers with their game logos, the proxies with the operator symbols, etc...
After a few hours, I finally finished cooking. I called everyone to the dinner table. After what sounded like a herd of elephants stampeding, everyone was seated. I passed out each plate to their designated owners. As everyone got their plates, they looked down in awe.
"This looks amazing, (y/n). How did you make this?" asked L.J., holding a small candy shaped pepperoni in his clawed hand.
"With my sweat, blood, tears, and other bodily fluids," I said. (Any fallers out there?)
"Ewwwww," said BEN. They all put their pizza back on their plates.
"I'm kidding! I've read all of your stories and I kind of know a lot about you guys. Plus, I did ask what you like earlier," I said.
Mutters of "true" and "I guess I can trust her" went around the table. Everyone picked up their pizza again and went to eat. Slender coughed slightly. Wait. How did he do that?! Everyone looked up at me and muttered a quick "thank you". I answered a quick "you're welcome" and sat in between Slender and Toby with Masky in front of me and Hoodie next to him. Now I see why everyone says that they would be a cute couple...
"(Y/n)? Why are you staring at us like that?" Hoodie asked.
"Hm? Oh. No reason. Just realized why everyone ships you two," I said casually. They seemed confused.
"Shipping is when someone thinks that two or possibly more people would be cute in a relationship. Geez, have you ever even googled creepypasta? There's ton of people that ship you two," explained BEN.
Both boys looked down and started eating again. I could tell that they were blushing.
"Who do I get shipped most with?" asked Jeff.
"The top three would probably be BEN, L.J., and Jane," I answered.
Both Jeff and Jane gagged when I said her name, but Jeff blushed at the other two. Huh, that was interesting reaction. I thought about asking him about it later, but quickly remembered we weren't quite at that level of closeness yet. Besides, right now I need to focus on this beautiful pizza. I made mine with little paintbrush pepperonis. I like to draw and paint. I'm actually not that bad at it. I got an A in art class. That reminds me...
"Hey, Slender?" I asked.
"Yes, child?"
"Can I paint in my room when its done?" I pleaded, giving him puppy eyes.
"Of course, child. Just try not to make any messes."
"Thank you, thank you, thank you! I promise not to make any giant messes," I said, smiling so wide my cheeks hurt.
The rest of dinner went well, except for when Jeff tried to start a food fight. Slender reached over with his tentacle and smacked him. There were no mentions of food fights after that. After dinner, I helped do the dishes. I'm sharing a room with Clockwork tonight. She seemed pretty cool when I first talked to her, so I was completely fine with it. As I was on my way to her room, someone grabbed my wrist and spun me around. My fight instincts kicked in and I punched whoever it was in the face. They fell to the floor clutching their nose. When I looked closer I saw that it was Hoodie.
"Oh my God! I am so sorry Hoodie. I didn't know it was you an-"
"It's fine," he mumbled nasally while pinching the bridge of his nose. "I shouldn't have surprised you like that." He stood up and blood seeped through his mask. I lightly tugged his mask off to see his nose bruised, swollen, and pouring blood.
"Come on. Let's get you fixed up," I said.
"It's fine I can take care of myself. I just wanted you to know that Slender said that your training starts tomorrow," he said. He started to walk away when I grabbed his arm. He turned to look at me.
"Let me help you with your nose. I know how to stop the bleeding and lessen the bruising," I said. "I got bullied a lot and I've gotten my fair share of bloody noses and bruises. I didn't want my mom to find out and worry about me, so I took care of it myself," I explained.
He engulfed me in a huge hug. I was shocked at first but then I hugged back. I could feel the sympathy and sadness radiating from him.
"I promise that no one will ever hurt you like that again," he said into my hair.
"Thank you, Hoodie." He tensed slightly when I said his name. I let go of him. "Come on. Let's go get you cleaned up. You're getting blood everywhere."
We laughed and started walking to the bathroom. We didn't notice the jealous eyes spying on us from right around the corner.
