Chapter 39: Spaghetti

I let out a muffled cry, quickly sitting on the couch.

I yank my hair and take a shaky breath.

Out,

In,

Everything will be okay.

Out.

I sighed and wiped my eyes from tears.

I felt a hand on my shoulder and I smile, looking back towards Destiny.

"Are you okay?" She says softly,

I nod and look back down to my hands that are placed in my lap.

"You wanna talk about it?"

I slightly shrugged, as she sat on the couch next to me.

"I went up to the roof and Gabriel sat next to me, I didn't even know how long he'd been there but he said some random thing that I didn't understand, then he kissed me," I pause,

"I pushed him off right away, but Greyson smelled his scent on my lips and he just, left." I start to cry again, trying to hold myself together.

Destiny doesn't say anything for a moment,

"He'll come back. He's your mate, he will always come back." she smiled, and took my hand in hers.

I leaned my head on her shoulder, slowly nodding.

My eyes slowly began to close, sleep taking over my body.

"Skylar.." A soft voice seeped through my ears,

"Skylar, sweetie, I need to talk to you," A hand caressed my cheek, sparks tingling through my face.

My eyes shot open, as I quickly stood up.

"What?" My voice rasps as I lock eyes with Greyson's.

He smiled softly and looked down.

"I'm sorry," He looked up,

"I over reacted and I should have listened to you." He ran a hair through his hair,

I paused for a moment and hugged him tightly.

"I should have acted quicker, I shouldn't have let his lips even come close to me." I mumbled,

"Just, promise me it won't ever happen again." He holds me tighter.

"I promise. I love you," 

"I love you," He ran his hand through my tangly locks.

"Skylar, I'm hungry." Destiny calls while jogging down the stairs.

"Well? What do you want me to do about it?" I let go of Greyson.

"Make me some spaghetti." She smiled,

"Please," She battered her eyelashes.

"Yeah Sky, please?" Greyson pouted.

"Ugh fine, but you two are doing the dishes!" I shouted as I walked into the kitchen, making dinner.
