So I just finished The Book Thief
Guys
I'm a sobbing, ugly mess
Times I cried:
-Liesel finally kissing Rudy
-Max being one of the Jews in the last parade
-Death giving Liesel her book
-Max's drawing in his old sketchbook of the two people standing on top of all the dead bodies, one of them saying "Isn't it a lovely day'
-Liesel placing Hans' accordion on his chest
-Liesel screaming "Papa! Papa!" after the bombing
-Papa didn't answer
Markus Zusak is an amazing author, and he deserves so much praise.
If you've read/seen it, who's your favorite character? Mine has to be either Ilsa, Rosa, Hans, or Max
This has probably become my favorite book of all time!
My mom got me the movie last year, so we're gonna watch it in China.
