"Wow!" "Oooohhh!" People said as they watched fireworks celebrating that the year had come to an end.
Jonas carried me piggy-back style up the hill following behind his small group of friends. A good majority of I knew now but there were a few newcomers. I think one of their names was Luke?
We finally reached our destination and JoJo (aka Jonas)put me down. I looked to the side a bit and noticed that the view was breathtaking! We had a a full beautiful view of the city and though it was surrounded by the forest, everything looked so alive with a gentle energy and light.
"So?" Jonas softly asked as he nudged my arm. I was confused. "So what?"
"The view, duh."
"Oh. Well its awesome!"
Jonas chuckled. "Thought you would like it."
I blushed of embarrassment. Dammit, he always knows what to gift me.
He then hugged me, though slightly picking me up from the ground. "Happy birthday and Happy New Year, (y/n)."
