Miranda's pov

I run to the bathroom and wash my mouth out in the sink. How dare he do that to me?! How dare he make me feel that way! Wait. Make me feel what way?! I stare at myself for the longest time in the mirror. I don't like him. You do! I don't want to!! Yes you do! "No I don't!" I scream, punching the mirror. It shatters. My breathing comes out ragged and I cal mom. She picks me up and I stare at the ceiling for what feels like eternity.

Jason's pov

Well that sure was a doozy. I am following her advice and not going near her.  I am not going to get mixed up in love with some goody two shoes princess from the city! That ain't me. I glare out the window of my room.

Miranda's pov

I take a walk to the nearby park, trying to calm my breathing and feelings. "I don't like him." I grumble irritated. "Suddenly I'm fallin' suddenly I'm there, suddenly I don't know what to do anymore." I glance to the left and to my horror, I see the badboy I'm trying to stay away from. He had a cigarette in his mouth while he strummed on an old guitar. My stomach did hurdles as I hid behind a tree. "I'm going to find a way to avoid these obstacles and if I know one thing girl...." His voice fades out. "But still I love you." He whispers, lowering the guitar. Wow. He's sure talented. Why does he hide it behind a badboy image? I step out, using all my courage.

Jason's pov

"You're really good at that." My hands stiffen in surprise. I look up, instantly locking eyes with Mrs. Good girl." "I thought you wanted to stay away from me." "I wonder why you hide your talent." She says. "Hide... I don't hide anything." "I bet no one knows you play guitar and can sing." "Shut it." I set down my guitar. "What are you doing here?" "Went walking. Didn't expect to see you." "You better get on!" "You don't scare me!" "Oh really?" I ask, standing up. She backs up a couple steps. "That's what I thought, bitch."

*4 days later*

I see the stupid good girl walk out of her class. A book tucked in her hand. She was being all flirty with some kid. Man this fake bad girl image sure is working for her. Every guy wants to get a piece of her tail and I've seen a bunch of jealous girls shooting her looks. I see right through her little act. Her and the boy exchanged numbers. I saw a paper slip out of her book but she didn't know. After she left I pick it up. It was a poem. I love her handwriting. She always makes a loop with her Ps. Wait. Why do I give a damn?! I read the poem and drop it shocked. It's about me. I read it aloud this time. "I love the way he smiles. I love the way his green eyes sparkle when he laughs and man do I love his laugh. I love the way his cowboy boots tap when a guitar strums. I love the way my cheeks burn at the mere thought of him. I drop the note and back away from it in shock. "She.... She likes m-me too."

Miranda's pov

I search frantically through the hallways, hoping and praying to find it! Suddenly a hand wraps around my arm and pulls me into a room. I scream in surprise and see Jason! "What do you-" He hands me a piece of paper. To my horror, my poem! He's the least person I wanted to read it. My cheeks blazen with embarrassment. He releases my arm and looks into my eyes, saying nothing but meaning everything. "Jason I-" Before I even finish the sentence, his lips have once again crashed into mine and I'm returning the kiss heatedly. My fingers get tangled in the fabric of his shirt and his grip tight to my hips. My breath comes out in ragged shocked gasps. "I have never been kissed like that before." He smiles, softly. "You... Like me too." He whispers. I don't know what to say. "Why?" I whiser, confusing not only him but also myself. He brushes a finger across my cheek. "Why what?" He asks, claiming his lips on mine again and I feel nothing but pure happiness. "Why would you.... The badboy of all of Georgia... Fall for a Yankee good girl?" I choke out breathless, staring into his cold green eyes. "Opposites attract I guess. But all I know is I've never felt this way about anybody before." "W-W-What do you m-mean?" "I mean I've never felt such burning passion toward any woman before in my life." "I g-guess I'm lucky then." I shakily say. He chuckles softly, his hand cupping my cheek. "You're so damn beautiful." "I... I am?" He smiles. "Would I lie to you?" We both bust out laughing. "Seriously all jokes aside, I want you to be my girl. I don't want you to be afraid of me." "I'm not afraid of you!" I cry angrily. He laughs. "Yes you are!" "No I'm afraid you're gonna blow my secret." He smiles and pulls me into yet another passionate kiss that leaves me breathless. I'm gasping for air. "I won't tell. I promise." I smile. Genuinely. "So what do ya say?" "Pick me up at 8?" He smiles. "It's a date." He whispers, kissing me again and walking out. I can't believe that just happened.
