Chapter 16

A/N:  Thank you for the compliments! I'm sorry if this chapter seems half assed. Lol there was time I was getting stuck but I have the next chapter somewhat planned already. I wanted to write some Lucaya family cuteness. :) 

Maya POV

Lucas was totally down for having a family day today and Gabe was so excited to ride Go Karts with Daddy.  Apparently when Daddy is around I'm chopped liver now.  We decided to go Go Karts first because Gabriel was so excited and his Dad just couldn't help but spoil him. As we were standing in line he was watching the others race. 

"Can I drive one Daddy?" he asked as he looked up at Lucas. 

"Nope, you're too little. Who do you want to ride with me or Mommy?" Lucas asked him. 

"You so we can beat Mommy!" he said with a little laugh. 

"Oh I see how it is. What am I chopped liver?" I teased. 

"Daddy said to go with him so we could beat you." Gabe giggled and I grinned at him. 

"I guess I'm going to have a talk with Daddy later then." I said to him and he smiled big at me. 

"Gabe you ratted me out." Lucas said and I chuckled. 

"You have never seen me in a Go-Kart. Just wait I got this. I will crush you." I said and Gabriel started laughing. 

"We'll see about that." Lucas said as the line finally started to move. 

We gave the man our tickets and then picked out the Karts we wanted. We chose ones that were parked beside each other. It was so cute seeing Gabe interact with his Dad as he was getting buckled in. As we waited for them to tell us we could go I looked over and Lucas who was talkign to Gabe. 

"Hey Huckleberry." I said causing him to look over at me. 

"What?" he asked.

"I'm going to cream you. Get ready." I said with a grin. 

"We'll see about that." Lucas replied. 

"Mommy, Aunt Riley says you're a horrible driver." Gabriel said and Lucas laughed. 

"Aunt Riley doesn't know what she's talking about." 

Once we were able to go Lucas started up ahead of me but I caught up real quick. I looked over at Gabe who was laughing. Lucas looked over at me and I grinned then flipped him off as I went ahead of him. It seemed like the entire race it was either him ahead of me or I'd gain some speed and pass him. Gabe was having a blast riding with Daddy. I won just like I said I would and ragged on Lucas about it.  After we were done with Go-Karts we did some Mini golf. It was such a great family day. On the way home we decided to stop and get some Pizza for dinner. 

"Daddy will you have a sleep over with me and Mommy tonight?" Gabe asked which surprised me that he asked this. 

Lucas looked up from his plate and over at me as if he was asking for help. "You can if you want." I replied. 

"Will you please Daddy?" he asked excitedly. "We can have a sleep over in Mommy's bed." 

"If that's what you want I'll stay." Lucas replied. 

"Yay!" Gabe said excitedly then he grabbed his drink and took a sip. "What movie can we watch?" 

"Mammy got you Secret Life of Pets the other day remember? We can open that and watch it." I replied. 

"Oh yeah that's right she did." Gabe said. 

"So it's going to be a movie, popcorn, and snuggles in Mommy's bed kind of night?" he said to Gabe.
