Chapter 30

A/N: I figured that last chapter would hit you all in the feels whether it was Luacaya or Riarkle. LOL. Glad you liked it. This one is kind of filler. Lol some cute Lucaya family moments. 

Maya POV

We had an amazing day spent at the beach with Riley and Farkle. Gabe loved every bit of it and was glued to Daddy's hip the entire time we were at the beach and I didn't mind it because he really needed his time with Lucas. At around 2:00 we decided to go back to the hotel. Riley and Farkle were heading back home so we said our goodbyes to them. Once they left i turned to look at Lucas.

"I'm debating on if I should give him a bath or not. Do you think we'll take him to the pool tonight?" I asked Lucas who was sitting in a chair that was there in the room.

"We probably won't have time if we want to take him to the Fireworks later. We have to get dinner yet and who knows how long of a wait we'll have. I'm thinking do the pool tomorrow." he replied and I knew he was absolutely right.

"Oh that's true. We are already nearing 3:00." I replied. "Come on Gabe time for a bath."

Gabe walked over to me and I grabbed him by his hand and took him into the bathroom. I started his bath water then turned my attention to him so I could help him undressed. He looked up at me and smiled.

"Mommy is Daddy really going to be home with us now?" he asked me and I smiled at him.

"Yes, baby. Isn't that great?" I said as I lifted his shirt off his head.

"You should tell Daddy to live with us." he said and I couldn't help but smile.

"I tell you what. You don't worry about anything but your bath right now. Leave that kind of thing up to Daddy and I. But I promise baby he's not going anywhere now." I said as I helped him get his wet trunks off.

"Daddy told me I get to see him a lot now." Gabe replied as I lifted him into the water.

"You're going to see him so much baby. You'll love it. I'm sure he will be staying with us a lot now." I said to him as I shut the water off. 

"I missed you Mommy." Gabe said as he played in the water. 

"Awe I missed you too baby." I said to him. 

I grabbed a wash cloth that was hanging up and began to wash Gabe. I washed his hair and his body then let him play for a few minutes while I grabbed some clothes for myself. I planned to shower once he was out. After getting my things around I grabbed a pair of boxers out of Gabe's bag for him. 

"I'm going to get a shower after Gabe gets out. Can you help him get dressed for me?" I said as I turned to face Lucas. 

"Yeah of course. Send him out when you are ready." Lucas replied. 

I went back into the bathroom and got Gabe out of the tub. I wrapped him in a towel then sent him out to Daddy so that he could get dried off. It didn't take me long to shower and blow dry my hair. When I walked into the room I couldn't help but smile at the sight in front of me. Lucas and Gabe laying in the bed and Gabe was laying on his chest fast asleep. I walked over and got into the bed with them. Lucas looked at me and smiled. 

"The beach must have tired him out." He whispered. 

"He's so happy that you are going to be with us more." I smiled at him. 

"I'm happy too Maya." Lucas said with a smile. 

I turned to my side and looked at Lucas. "You know he asked me about you living with us." I whispered.

"I've been thinking about that too. I really want to be with you two. I want us to be under one roof together. " Lucas replied.

"How about when we got home from this vacation we start looking for a new apartment." I said to Lucas with a smile. 

Lucas took his hand and brushed it along my cheek. "I think that sounds like a great plan.  I love you Maya." 

"I love you too." I said then I leaned into kiss him softly. 

I set my alarm clock for 5:00 and then snuggled into Lucas. I figured I take a nap too and that's what we did. The three of us a took a little cat nap. I was excited for the rest of our evening. After getting around for dinner we left to get something to eat. We didn't have too long of a wait and after we got done there we hit up the boardwalk. Gabe really wanted to go to the carnival so we took him there. It was such a beautiful view on the Ferris Wheel. OOnce we did that Lucas took him on Go-Karts then finally we went to find a spot for the Fireworks. It was nice to spend time as a family the three of us on this little vacation. Gabriel was in absolute heaven and it was nice being able to hold Lucas hand as we walked along the beach. The Fireworks on the beach were of course beautiful. After they ended we decided to go back to the hotel. Gabe was getting tired and I wanted to put him to bed which didn't take long because he had a pretty big day. After he was out like a light I went and joined Lucas who was out on the balcony. I sat down in his lap and he wrapped his arms around me. I turned to look at him and kissed him softly.

"You know sitting out here like this reminds me of when we were in the home. How we would look at the stars." I said with a smile. 

"Those were some amazing memories. I'll never forget them." Lucas said with a smile. 

"I love you so much more than you'll know." I said a tear slipped down at my cheek. 

Lucas looked at me confused as he wiped the tear away "Whats wrong?" he said and then I laid down my head down on him. 

"I'm just so glad that I have you Lucas." I replied. "I'm sorry for how I was with you." 

"You need to stop thinking about it. It's fine. I love you so much and I've missed you too. You'll never not have me. You and Gabe are the most important things in my life. Things are going to be so much better now that I don't have that job and can be with you two." he said as he wrapped his arms around me. 

I lifted my head up off him and looked at him "You are the best Daddy ever to our little boy. I'm so blessed and so is he. He idolizes you Lucas." I said and then kissed him softly. 

"I know I missed a lot of his little life those first 5 years but I'm trying so hard. I don't want him to ever feel like he doesn't have me." Lucas replied and I nodded

"He knows that He's so excited about you being off with him. Riley told me earlier its all he's talked about." I chuckled.

"Good. I'm glad." Lucas said then kissed my cheek. "How about we just cuddle in bed until we fall asleep?" 

"I think that sounds like a plan." I replied. 

Lucas and I walked back inside. Gabe laid in between us and eventually he ended up cuddling right into me. I would take snuggles with my little boy any day. I wrapped my arms around him and kissed him on his cheek as he slept soundly in my arms. Eventually I fell asleep too. I could do this every single night the three of us a family. I loved it and was really starting to get used to it.
