A/N: Mature content at the end. Thank you all for your comments. It means a lot that you guys like my story. This update is over 2K words lmao so you're in for a treat. Also I started a new fic called "Daddy's Little Girl" that I think you guys will love as it's very similar to this one only different circumstances and it's Lucas who has raised their(him and Maya's) child not Maya. The first chapter is already posted. Home is going to end at Chapter 50. I'm going to do some time jumps each chapter until then so we can hit some cute milestones for baby Hope.  :)

Maya POV

1 Month Later

Marah and Gabriel have been in school for 6 weeks now. Marah is loving making all kinds of new friends and Gabriel has always loved school. I started up work again and hated having to leave Hope but I knew that she was in great hands with her Daddy. He loves being home with her every day and I couldn't help but be a little jealous of it. On the way in from work I grabbed our mail. There was a certified letter addressed to Lucas that had me very curious but I didn't open it. When I got inside the kids were in their rooms working on homework and Lucas was watching TV while Hope was asleep in her swing.

"This came for you in the mail today." I said as I walked over to him.

"Why the fuck would I get a certified mail?" he asked me.

"Language Huckleberry." I said as I unstrapped Hope from swing so I could hold her.

Lucas began to open up the envelope and I watched as he pulled out a pile of papers. His facial expression changed from confusion to shock in a matter of seconds.

"Oh my god." he mumbled.

"What is it?" I asked and then leaned over.

"Maya, this is from my maternal Grandparents. Apparently I was listed in their will. My Grandpa died some time ago it seems but my Grandma just recently passed away. They left me a huge lump sum of money." He said as he continued to read it over.

"What?" I said and my eyes widened.

"This is a fucking joke." he said then he angerly put the papers on the table beside him.

"Lucas!" I said trying to keep my voice low enough. "Why are you mad?"

"Maya, they could have given two fucks about me and now all of a sudden they are sending me money?" he said to me.

"I mean it's odd they didn't send to your mom." I replied. "But Lucas I mean this is great. You can be off even longer with Hope now, we can even maybe look at a house depending on what you want to do with it that is, I know you are upset but don't be."

He started to soften a little bit "Well my mom was an only child and she was a drug addict so it's understandable why they wouldn't want the money to go to her. "

"Give me the papers. There has to be more info on them something from your Grandparents." I replied. "You didn't even look through all of them."

Lucas grabbed the papers, handed them to me, then took Hope for me so I could read them to see if there was any more info. I was reading through each page of paper when I got the last one which was copied handwritten note with the original note stapled onto it.

"Lucas there is a note on this." I said to him as held it up. "Look its handwritten."

"What does it say?" he curiously asked. "Read it out loud for me."

I looked back down at the letter and began to read it out loud for him.

"My dearest Grandson Lucas,
