We all sat in a booth. Ace and his friend next to each other and me and Candice together side by side as well.
Ace was facing Candice and I faced Owen.
Owen seemed a bit off though. The whole while we'd been here he had avoided eye contact with Candice. Trying to keep his distance away from her.
I hoped he'd stop that and would talk to her. I didn't want Candice to feel upset about some people fearing her anymore. So far he only talked to me and Ace.
"So I don't want to go back to campus. And I think Maya's mentioned that she's new around here so why don't we all show her around LA today?" Ace said. I froze with eyes wide as Candice and Owen agreed to what Ace said and all eyes were on me.
"Yea why not. Sounds good to me." Candice said with a shrug.
"Same here." Owen said.
"How about you Maya? In for today? Cause the rest of us seem to agree." Ace said to me.
"Uh sure. I guess I'm in if all of you agree." I said with a fake smile. I wasn't really looking forward to spending time out. Especially more time with Ace. But besides, at least Candice and Owen would be there too.
"Great. After this we'll go to some spots in LA." Ace said with a smile.
We all finished eating at In And Out. Ace was driving us to an LA spot in his white Camry.
He had told me we would just drive around LA and stop in certain spots.
I was looking out the window when I saw a really nice abstract building. It was red and silver.

"Woah. What's that?" I asked, and pointed out the window.
Candice sat beside me when she spoke. "Oh! It's a museum of cars. I think it's called Peterson's Museum. Or Automotive Museum? I don't know. Something like that."
"It looks really cool." I said and she nodded.
Ace stopped at a red light and that made me have more time to look at the museum.
"Hey Owen, mind going to Maps on your phone to look for any places around here?" Ace said. Owen nodded.
"Sure."
Moments later Owen found a place.
"LACMA is near here." Owen said and got Aces Aux cord to connect to his phone. A females voice could then be heard giving directions.
