Chapter 16| Classes

Weeks passed and it soon turned into a month of living with Ace.

We had our moments. Some funny, dumb, and ridiculous. Other than that, we were cool with each other.

Sure there would be the occasional times where we would look at each other as more than friends. But, that's it. None of us had really made a move on each other and I don't we were planning too.

Besides, why would he be interested in someone like me when he could go out and get any other girl he liked?

I mean, I will admit this; I know I'm pretty, but to be liked by Ace is far beyond of what I believe could happen.

Still, I'd like to think there could be a chance in us being together. Just not yet. 

Today, was a new day. Aka, the first day of classes.

I woke up to the sound of my alarm at 7:00, and quickly began changing.

Ace was in the kitchen making breakfast, since he told me last night he'd do that for us.

I changed into red jeans, and a black and white striped shirt.

I did my hair, and let it be down as usual.

I grabbed my bag for classes with the materials that I needed. Then strapped it around my shoulder and went to the kitchen.

"Breakfast is served." He said.

"Thanks." I said, and took a seat to eat.

It'd only been 2 times since he cooked. Very little. This would be the 3rd time.

I ate my breakfast quite quickly since I had classes early in the morning at 8.

"When are you going to your first class?" I asked Ace as I ate from the scrambled eggs on the plate.

"An hour after you." He said, taking out his phone to go sit on the couch. He seemed to do that a lot.

We both were silent as I finished eating my breakfast.

I put my plate in the sink and heard my phone ring.

I looked at the caller ID and saw it was Candice. I picked up and answered.

"Hey what's up." I said.

"Heyyyy. You have your first class in a few minutes right?" She said.

"Yea."

"Ok cool. Cause I have one right now too." She said.

"Oh that's great. So you wanna go together?" I said.

"Yep. I'll meet you outside your apartment." And with that, she hung up.

I looked towards Ace to see him start to turn on the TV.

"Ok well see ya later Ace." I said, and started to head to the front door.

He glanced my way then back at the TV. "Peace." And did the peace sign with his fingers as I opened the door to leave.

"Bye." And I closed the door, starting to walk down the halls to the elevator.
