Notice how I'll be using 2016 in this chapter even though it's 2017.

"Hello, losers!" Candice yelled, greeting us when she opened the front door of Owens dorm, nicely balancing two boxes of pizza in one arm.

"Heyyy!" We all yelled back.

Ace, Owen, and I were playing a game of Uno in the middle of the living room.

Candice placed the pizza boxes in a squared table nearby. "Let's eat guys!"

It's been 3 months since September of having our Pizza Club. We were close to January which meant a vacation for us to celebrate the New Year.

This would be our last Pizza Club meet up for 2016 until our next one for 2017.

We hadn't gotten any other members to join us because of Candice being part of it. Which was a slight bummer but not much since this club included my only close friends. We were always ourselves with each other when we hung out which I really liked. We sometimes would inner leash our child selves and I don't think other students would be able to agree or have fun with it as much as us. They'd just be weirded out. But overall, it was just better to be us four together.

"Okay, I've got a joke for you all," Candice said, placing her plate of pizza on the floor beside her. "I was at the ATM once and this old lady asked me to check her balance. So, I pushed her over."

With that, all of us started laughing. Every time, Candice always had something funny to say. Gosh how much I loved her.

"I can't wait for vacation to celebrate the New Year with my family. What about you guys?" Owen asked us.

"Yep, I can't wait either." Candice said.

"Same. I'll be having to take a flight to Italy." Ace said, and I widened my eyes.

"You're from Italy?!" I said shocked.

He laughed. "I'm half Italian and American since I was born here." He said.

"Wow. That's so cool." I said amazed at the fact that Ace was part Italian. I wish I was part something other than just being American.

"And where will you be going to Maya?" Candice asked me.

"Back home to New Orleans." I said.

"Oh cool." Owen said.

"I'm going to have to buy my ticket for the flight." I said and I saw Ace agree.

"I wish we could get more than a week of vacation. College has me so tired and stressed." Candice said and we all agreed with her.

"Come on guys. We should be celebrating our last time together till next year than be upset about how college is treating us." Owen said.

"Your right."

With that, we began to enjoy our pizza and drinks playing Uno.

One week later,

I was happy to go back home for the New Year as I finished packing my suitcase for my week in New Orleans.

My flight was in 3 hours and I wanted to leave campus in less than 15 minutes.

Ace was in the living room watching TV. He was already ready and would leave after me. His flight was in 4 hours.
