"Ashley!!"
I tried to jump at the water but Eduardo stopped me.
"Eduardo!Don't try to stop me!"I said.
"Don't jump!"he said.
"But Ashley is!-"before I could say anything...
"Ya' can't swim Nathan!If you jump,you'd die!Ashley wouldn't want that!"Eduardo shouted to me.
He's right.I hope Ashley can survive.She's strong,I promise I'll find you Ashley!
Next Day,After Storm
We stopped by at Yamato to fix the damages at our ship.I looked at my pocket and found at bracelet.
"T-this is..."
Flashback..
"Nathan!Close your eyes."Ashley told me.
"Okay."I gently closed my eyes.
"Don't open them till I say so!"Ashley said.
I laughed.
"Okay,open you're eyes!"she said.
I opened my eyes and there was a handmade bracelet on my wrist.
It has a seashell and pearls.
"What is it for?"I asked her.
"It's our promise bracelets.We both have the same."she said then smiled.
"Then,what's you're promise?"I asked her.
"I promise that I'll love you forever,Nathan!"she said.
"And yours?"she asked.
"I promise I'll protect and love you,Ashley."I said.
I kissed her on the forehead.
End Of Flashback
I remember that promise.But I broke it..because I failed to protect her.I'm so useless.
"Okay,men!Let's go to the tavern!"Captain said.
