"So, we'se go inside the store, and the clerk asks us 'Is this your fiancé?'"
"And we'se start bursting inta laughta! Oh youse shoulda been thea!"
"So they checked your ring size and found it cause of your brudda hea!"
"Oh my God! Dat is crazy!" I say. Spot and Race are telling me about how they got the ring and the plan.
"So youse went through all this just ta ask me this one little, but big thing?" I ask.
"Yep, just for youse Sweetcheeks." Spot says.
"Youse know now we'se gotta start planning for dis wedding right?" I ask.
"Well, we'se was thinkin'. What bout we get married when youse seventeen? We'll have enough money by then, and plus youse can still be a newsie for a while." Race adds.
"Ise like dat."
"Okay, well since we'se got time on our hands, how bout Race starts ta deal! I feel lucky!" Blink says. I get off of Spot's lap and sit on his.
"Hey! Whatcha doin?" Spot asks me.
"Ise told ya she was me lucky charm since she's moved ta New Yawk!"
Everyone laughs. Race wins 3 times, Blink wins two times, and Jack and Spot win one.
Mush is done wit gamblin because he can neva win. All he's gotta do is play.
