I laid in bed and stared at the ceiling. Right now I had that feeling. The one that you probably got if you watched prince Caspian- when Susan falls in love then is told she can never go back and see him. The one when you come back to reality from a dream life.

Yep, it sucked. I felt so empty. Like I wanted to cry, but it was pointless, because my tears wouldn't change a thing.

See, life has this way of making your good moments unbelievable, and your low moments rock bottom. It felt the same as the first time I came back home- pointless.

My mom was gone shopping or whatever, so I just did whatever.

Everything was as quiet as could be, until I heard rapping on my window.

I screamed as I saw a face. Then I recognized it.
I ran to the window and opened it.

"Charlie! What the heck are you doing?"

"Just like old times, huh?" He said.

"Why didn't you use the door?" I asked, trying not to smile.

"If your parents saw me, they would slaughter me".

I nodded. It was true.

"They're not here. Come in, you big dork", I smiled.

"Oh thank god. This is a lot harder than it was four years ago".

He climbed into my room.

"Looks the same", he noted.

Now it was time for me to be mad.

"Why are you here?" I asked.

"Oh, you know. I missed falling off of your house. Why do I think I'm here?" He asked.

"How did you know where I was?"

"You know, Peyton and I have really hit it off ever since you left", he said, Smiling.

Oh no. She didn't.

"That little traitor", I whispered.

"She couldn't help it. She was too charmed", he said.

"You really shouldn't be here", I said, looking around.

"I know", he admitted," But you know you're happy I am".

He was right. I was happy.

Then the realization hit me. He came back. He really came back.

"You came back", I whispered.

Three years ago, that was all I wanted. And now it happened.

"I really don't want myself to want you to be here", I said.

"And I hate myself for wanting to be here", he said,"I really wanted to stay away, but you know.... I.... I just...", he groaned. "Will you just shut me up already?"

I smiled and kissed him. His arms wrapped around me and he pushed me against the wall.

I heard the front door open. I tried to pull away.

"Charlie.... My.... Parents..." I said in between kisses.

"Leave With me", he begged, kissing my cheek.

"I.... I can't", I said, unconvincingly.

"But you will", he said, smiling against my neck.

I groaned. "Ugh... Sometimes I don't know whether to punch you or kiss you".

"I like the second option better", he said kissing me again.

We accidentally knocked a lamp over.
