Chapter 12

Hayley's P.O.V.
I ran. I didn't know where I was going, but my feet knew. The tears fell, and my heart throbbed. I ran as fast as I could. I needed to get away, suddenly knew where I was going, a trail leading to the forest. The place where Andy took me. I continued to run.
Andy's P.O.V.
I chased after Hayley. Sophie tried to grab onto me. "Andy?! Why are you chasing after her?!" I pulled her off. "Sorry not sorry Sophie, but I never liked you." I continued to run after Hayley. She was about a half a mike away already. I didn't know where she was going, I knew she wasn't going home. I continued to run after her, this was kind of an everyday metaphoric thing. I chase Hayley, showing my love, but she just runs away home. But today it's literal. We came close to the forest, and onto the trail. Hayley continued to run, seeming to know where she was going. She was going to the place I showed her. Why would she want to go there?
Hayley's P.O.V.
The bramble scratched at my arms, my legs, my face, my hair. I continued to run. I tripped over tree roots, over holes, I wouldn't stop. I need to do what I need to do.
Andy's P.O.V.
I continued to chase. I saw Hayley stumble and fall, but never stop. She looked like a ghost, in a white dress, running. I couldn't reach her, she was too fast. Hayley seemed so determined, for what?
Hayley's P.O.V.
I came to the lake and waterfall. The walls were still steep, the perfect location. I walked to the edge of the cliff.
Andy's P.O.V.
I ran into the clearing, and Hayley was already there. She seemed so at peace, admiring the scenery. Hayley walked close to the edge. It suddenly dawned on me. She was here to jump.
Hayley's P.O.V.
I turned around, my heels standing on the edge of the cliff. Andy stood there, watching me, with horror stricken on his face. He approached me, getting closer. Andy stood in front of me, not saying a word. I grabbed his hand, and kissed it for the last time.
Andy's P.O.V.
No. She can't do this to me. It's not going to end tonight. Hayley sensed my presence and turned around. I came closer, I didn't want her to leave me. Hayley just looked at me, a blank stare. She grabbed my hand, and kissed it.
Hayley's P.O.V.
I walked backwards, slowly. "Hayley! No!" Andy tried to grab me, but my toes already left the soil. I fell backwards, the winds rushing through my ears. I hope they're all happy.
