Finally we sat down and had a little rest after carrying a lot of stuff. "That sure was fun. Wouldn't mind doing this more often." I say while catching my breath a bit. Zak laughs a bit at what I said and looks at me like I fell in some funny way or something. "That's a surprisingly positive thing to hear. The guys sometimes whine like kids when something heavy has to be carried." I also laugh. "Men will be little boys sometimes, I guess." He nods in agreement and gets a bit more serious. "Enough of the goofing and more of the talk." He gets a bit closer. "Why are you friendless?" He asks, with seriousness, clearly audible in his voice. I get into a more comfortable sitting position. After the 4th grade I started losing friends, until I had about 6 friends. After finishing the grade I had to move to a different country, a few thousand kilometers away from where I live today." I paused and had a breather. While doing so, I noticed Zaks emotional state had become calmer. I continued. "After I came back from my year-long trip, I noticed I only had 4 friends left. I wasn't too bothered by it, since I'd taken that into account already. I was 13 at the time when I changed, a lot; I became more antisocial and eventually disconnected from everyone. Let's just say, puberty hit hard.."
