After Zak asked me that question I snapped my looks towards him. He must've realized what he said and he apologized, seemingly embarrassed. I walk back to him and sit next to him. I go from uneasy to rather easygoing. "Don't worry, I got that question a lot, back in the days I communicated with humans." I laugh. He seems mindfucked, but continues asking anyways. "So who or what was it?" He asks, after processing the sudden turn of events. "It was school and social pressures from people who I've basically forgotten now." I simply reply. "Anyone in specific who caused it the most?" Zak asks. He seemed different when he asked it, like something had awakened within him. "Well, you know, the usual. Bullies and idiots in general. I always trusted people too easily. That's why I had doubts of you not running away after I told about what happened. Guess you're a bit different at that point than the rest." I tell him. I decide to lean back on the couch we were sitting on and close my eyes. I was smiling sheepishly for some reason though.
