Chapter 13: GD Calls and Stays

Cindy and I are out shopping for some mattresses and couches or sofas. There weren't really any good ones on Craigslist.

We finally settled on a grayish couch with a bed that Cindy bought. She will stay in the living room and I got an actual bed that had a lot of storage space.

Cindy called one of her guy friends to help us move the furniture into our apartment.

Once they left, my phone began to ring. It was GD.

"Hello?" I ask into the phone.

"Anneyong, Nae Jangmi," says GD. "How are you? It's been a while."

It's been like four days now. I've been busy looking for furniture.

"Anneyong, GD," I say. "I've been busy with Cindy. We were shopping for furniture. We finally got some. It's a start."

"I'm glad to hear you got the time. Any chance I can come? Or do you need help? I can come help. I'm free for two days."

"Umm... Yeah sure. Why not? Call me once you're here. I'll Buzz you in."

"Great. See you in a little bit."

"Bye."

"Bye." He hangs up.

After about an hour, GD texts and I buzz him in.

"Wow. This place is nice," he says, after hellos and a hug for me."

"OMG. It's really GD!" says Cindy.

Ji-Young chuckles.

"So I brought cake and a little gift," he says.
